End credit of Reign Of Fire introduced your band back in 2002. To this day, I'm still listening "Burn" and "Walk Away". Tbh, this version is giving me goosebumps !!🔥🔥

Glue and clamps , plus the right precision screws , pre-drilled at an angle 📐, and the screw head recessed, some touch of resurfacing/matching paint . Just my opinion . I wouldn’t trust glue as a stand alone fix . Let us know how it turns out !!! By the way ,, we miss your vocals and guitar playing , you going to post some more of that like years ago ?? !!!
@JLynnJohnston19 күн бұрын
This is actually a pretty common repair for Gibsons. Never heard of screws being necessary, so I'm gonna give it a go with Titebond as soon as my tools get here!

best choice for a kid or small woman to learn on, absolutely. also, a great little guitar in it's own right. you *could* go a Jaguar, but the Mustang has more forgiving pups. Jag pups are very strident, Jazzmaster sounding pups. the most important lesson a Jag can teach you is how to dial off trebs, lol. mind you, good lesson to learn if you are going to be playing Fenders. BURN! take that Fender! on that note i would add; for preference a beginner might do better with a humbuckered 'Stang. though the Squier 'Stang single coils they use are pretty subdued, probably on purpose. yes, so it turns out Fender's purpose built student guitar is a good student guitar. once they changed the pick-up selector to a three way switch, that is. the original selector switches were stupid. and worse, ugly. when you are just starting out you judge a guitar on it's looks, you have no other metric yet.

A beautiful guitar, but none of the tonal versatility of a good low-wind, vintage style PAF in either pickup position. These guitars have a nice acoustic chime and Tele snap, but you’ll never hear it through those pickups. Honor the guitar- put some vintage output PAF style humbuckers in there, and bring this guitar to life.
@JLynnJohnston2 ай бұрын
Maybe someday I’ll spend equal to my entire investment in this guitar in order to upgrade the pickups!
@braddietzmusic24292 ай бұрын
@@JLynnJohnston there are some great lower cost options out there, and in any event, I encourage you to invest in making this guitar all you want it to be.

Also, I'm pretty sure the upper framed poster is almost the same as mine. I have a 2-sided promo poster that looks very similar! It folded up into quarter-size, with separate panels for the album, movie promo, and similar, with the other side matching this one at 1:03. Have that in my server room and will have to check when I can.

It takes my ear and an old krog tuner, to comp the right intonation, some of these newer tuning apps, are always a few cents off, once a guitar or bass is in perfect intonation,it seems like the instrument tunes itself,once the intonation is spot on, the in tune string will sound it's best, when you turn the peg to it's desired note.
