A senior here.......I think I have the method to the TV, I would like to use the remote for apps I purchased. i.e. Netflix and Peacock, etc. what do I do to switch my device (TV) to receive my apps? I also have a DVD; do I do the same thing but hold down the DVD button?

i have yet to disable apm on my lenovo ideapad 110-15acl with a8-7410 2.5ghz max boost quad on 16gb ram ddr3-1600 & AMD Radeon R5 M430. The Northbridge frequency fluctuates down in game and causes continuous lagging with APM enabled. So I plan on disabling APM.

You’re literally sifting through thousands of songs scattered all over the place trying to figure out what to listen to. With a CD collection, you have a smaller selection to choose from. And because you spent a lot of effort picking each album, every cd in your collection is something you truly enjoy. With streaming, it’s so easy to quickly add random songs to hit collection, you end up with a chaotic mess of songs you don’t really love. Also, listening to a cd is a more immersive experience. Theres no apps or notifications distracting you every 2 seconds

I had an item shipped from Tennessee to Maryland. The USPS sent to me, via San Francisco and indicated that it was out for delivery. 11 days after it was shipped, I received it at my Maryland home. I'm currently awaiting an item that was shipped from Florida. The last two days USPS tracking indicated that it was out for delivery. Tomorrow will be the third day it will be "out for delivery". The USPS tracking is an absolute joke. I now know if they say anything is out for delivery, I can add two days on to the delivery date and it will arrive, if I am lucky. Why do they even bother?

Sweet, I have a 1986 Mitsubishi TV at home and we’re finally cancelling Cox. Our family has had converter boxes before between 2009-2014. My family has flat screens now and they stream their shit, I still watch TV and VCR. This is the only video I’ve seen where I’ve seen a person hook up a converter box to a TV with antennas that are part of it, or attached to it, especially the kinds of TV’s from the 70’s. Usually I’m seeing TVs from the 90s and beyond being hooked up with a converter box. This is really useful because my TV also has rabbit ears built into them, it can also be unscrewed I think. My TV has the pitchforks and the coaxial, so this is perfect. Though instead of the knobs, its buttons with a glowing number channel screen above them.

I have the same power supply and have noticed the fan in mine doesn't seem to work. Maybe it turns on when required. I don't know. My power supply works fine and doesn't overheat.

Nonsense,you can vary the color tone of the lcd,LED represents color pretty good and flat,and LED can also change its own color tone if it was rgb based.No way a tube lamp would be brighter than an LED with the same watt,and remember that tube lamps are bright when they are new and then dramatically reduce the brightness.

I have the exact same one from my 82yo dad. Barely used, brown leatherette zipper case, manual. The trimmer part doesn't seem to actually cut, though. I see it moving, but there is zero cutting happening. I'm having to break out my adjustable trimmer to take care of any hairs longer than 1/8" it seems, and that's a total drag. Anybody know of a fix? Coincidentally I also have a newer Chinese-made Remington whose trimmer also never worked.

Nothing beats collecting and listening to CDs. Also the sound quality of a CD is way better than compressed streaming music! Moreover, CDs usually come with great booklets with liner notes, photos, and lyrics. Also its great not have to need an internet connection, a P.C., laptop or smart phone, if you want to listen to music, and finally no one can take away my CD collection from me, and its going to outlast me in terms of lifespan as well. On top of that I love just looking at my CD collection; try doing that with streaming, lol.

Still useful info the thing is a "BALUN" for "BALanced to UNbalanced" converter. It gets pronounced as that. The 2nd thing is also called "BALUN". A nifty thing about BALUNs is that they work both ways. Converters usually output on CH3 or CH4 remind people to select that channel/ After you get the converter working do the "scan for channels" thing on it. It will be in its menu. You may have to fiddle with the rabbit ears to get the most stable picture on any given channel. I get about 100 channels on rabbit ears. Your mileage may vary.
