Good vid. I have been looking at cicada for a while. Your vid was very helpful and now I’m more confident that it will do what I’m hoping for.

Are they worth spending the extra cash over Rockford fosgate ?

In my opinion, yes! I haven't heard the newest RF stuff. I'd say they compare well to the diamond audio.

What speaker grills did you use? I hear the cicadas rub on street glides because of the fit.

I used some mesh grills from amazon. I'll have to check the brand. They are pretty good gauge metal and good paint.

Was looking at these too. I’m 5’8 and the stock bars on my SGS are too far away and killing my back. We’re you able to swing them back toward you to reduce the reach without them hitting the tank? KST recommend the 12” because they would come back further when tilted down.

Loving them! On the brake side I had to rotate it a little to clear those volume controls. Thats with the coaxials. The horns wouldn't fit without a generous spacer

@@thecoreelementsmoto thank you for the response. I am doing my research for my 2022 Road Glide and I have heard great things about the this new line, Cicada. Which T Harness and amp mount did you use for your bike? And did you get help with the DSP set up or did you do it yourself? Thank you again.

Used the hogtunes grills. Picked them up on Amazon. The non horn coax fit in my 2014 by rotating it a few degrees to clear the controls on the side and made some new mounting holes

very nice amp and speakers I like how the amp comes with the proper Gauge terminals for the power input, Quick question, what is the price range on that amp and speakers set?? I know the Hertz and Dimond speakers range in the 300 to 600 range, and the amps go from 450 to 1200 range, Thanks

That reserve is a great head unit, I installed it a couple of weeks ago and it works and sounds great, and it fits like it came with the bike, I never heard of the Atom amp, I need to read up on this amp, i have two Evox 800.4 under my batwing for now,, i am looking for something with more power that will fit in the amp slots and supply 6 to 8 channels per amp instead of running 3or 4 amps, but for now the Evox works great, your videos are informative thanks for the 411,,😎👍

Question,, how many channels does your amp have and what the RMS output?? I did the whole flashing thing myself as well on my street glide and still was not happy with the sound quality, so i upgraded my head unit to the new reserve head unit and the sound quality difference is amazing, the original head unit was great but to me the upgrade was better and no flashing required, your system sounds great, i am thinking of upgrading my fronts to Cicada horns myself, but still working on the systems saddles and amps,, oh and sweet bike😎👍 we need to hear your system cranked up👍👍👍👍
@thecoreelementsmoto2 жыл бұрын
Its a 4 channel amp with the built in DSP. 4x92 at 4ohms and 4x152 rms at 2ohms. I did post a ride video, at the end of that one I crank it up a bit more.

Nice video and thank you for doing the video correctly. KZfaq motorcycle sound system video's Should only be done with the engine running and outside.
