I worked on this lift. I was a shotblaster and worked on the caissons you mention. I've actually been inside them. 😬

They wasn't going to fool a generation, if they new that hypoglycaemia low sugar lack of milk intake is genetic fit. Celebral palsy and physical disabilities is deformity looking. Epilepsy is more than one fit! Being discharged from a Speech Therapist is working like a genetic. Hypoglycaemia low sugar lack of milk intake needs to observed like premature baby's. You looking out for deformity and physical disabilities. They put the wrong diagnosis onto people, yet 1934 & 1976 there would of been a change of staff they way you written your letters was disgraceful towards normal looking genetic. Do not be fooled what should be normal genetic, working like a genetic. To deformity looking person!

They do. They are three of around 30 Ferro-Concrete Barges that were allocated to Manchester Ship Canal Co. in WWII. One is probably FCB13 or 15 making them likely to be later 1940, early 1941. Taken to this arm of the river off the MSC in the early 80s and sunk there. There is a floating example, FCB18, at Ellesmere Port Boat Museum

I wish DOE spent their time to show the benefits of motorcycling rather than making society think that motorcycles are fatally dangerous. Society now pictures people dying when someone mentions a motorbike rather than the positive benefits of riding. Motorists still do this no matter the amount of negative advertisments DOE makes.

Main concern for me is that the road passes over the St Helens Canal high enough to make it navigable. The last thing needed is another barrier in the way of the restoration of this historical gem.

An incredible structure, like a giant R2-D2. My uncle used to take me here when I was a kid as a treat. Given the number of times I've been there I really ought to know much more about it than I do, tho'; I can name a few star constellations and that's about it! It was really exciting when they moved the dome or the entire structure on its feet, like it had a mind of it's own! The landscape is beautiful, too

The Anderton Boat Lift is a two caisson lift lock near the village of Anderton, Cheshire, in North West England. It provides a 50-foot (15.2 m) vertical link between two navigable waterways: the River Weaver and the Trent and Mersey Canal. The structure is designated as a scheduled monument, and is included in the National Heritage List for England.
