Our 2024 Prius Prime gave us 80+Km in EV in March, when it was still cold here. Now, with summer temperatures we have seen 91Km on battery, with 6% SOV left. Yesterday, the trip computer indicated a range of 96Km in EV Mode at day break. After the Traction Battery dies, we see 62+mpg. All this while matching traffic speeds.

Buying an electric car is insanity. You are only one software update away from the government being able to decide if you have been a good boy or girl and if you are allowed to drive your vehicle. Within the next few years, they will have that capacity. That is the same with the dollar. Going to the digital dollar will allow them to decide if, when, and what you do, or even if you are allowed to eat. Don't sell yourself to the governments and the new world order. Think about it.

I got a 2013 Ford F-150 base work truck with 30k miles for $14k. Prepandemic I could have gotten it for $10k. Truck prices are nuts. Watch out for the Nissan Titan. I drove a new one on the highway and it got 9 mpg.

Slightly depressing video. There was only one vehicle shown under 50k USD. Everything else was 80k+. Only a couple of those were over 300 miles of range. American and European cars are going to get blown out of the water when Korean and Chinese cars overtake them on range and price.
