Mr. Ratcliff, I got a violin off of ebay a decade ago that you regraduated. It sounded amazing for the little workshop fiddle it was. It had a similar sweet, round and powerful sound this one does in the video, but not as good tonewood. Your violin sounds amazing!

Billy Strings covers this old Flatt/Scruggs song in Dave’s style and nails it. Does Dave Proud.

Great song, and these young women do a great version of it. I still prefer Sara Carter’s sad, deep voice singing those lyrics, but these ladies are not far behind.

One of my all time favourite hymns - beautifully done! If I understand right, the group was a "COVID casualty" which is a great shame

What’s sad about this song, this church is called spring street babist church in mt Sterling ky, that recently burned in a fire. I’m fact the seats and pulpit in the video were destroyed in the fire. I loved this church but now it’s time to move on to what god has in store for me. Never stop believing in god

Decent but hell she’s not as good as men. Or Monroe
@philiprose7942 Жыл бұрын
That mandolin playing was identical to Monroe on this song. Bill's mandolin in this song inspired me to be a bluegrass fan. In other words, "great job!"
