I don’t understand the need to be in marching band, wouldn’t an orchestra or military band make you a better musician?

Allow me to introduce you to SCV 2018 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pZ5zhd19ypetYY0.html also bluecoats 2022 but i wont put a second video you can see that for yourself. This show also has some insane visuals that aren't shown in the headcam well

This form of marching band is for fun and to showcase skill. But for highschools and even colleges its been a tradition in the U.S for the longest time.

Many of the things I have learned in my time doing drum corps, such as work ethic, musicianship, and self confidence, have set me up to be a much more successful musician than I would have been had I not invested my time in this activity during the summers. The benefits are truly astonishing, and I wouldn’t trade these experiences for anything! :)

Drum Corp still helps you become a better musician, just in different ways and different areas of music. People also do this because they love marching, this is mostly for fun and competing.

Strange Question just out of curiosity. At around 10:26 when you pass in front of the center mic, you stopped playing. Were you simply taking a breath? Or are you guys instructed to not play as you pass really close to them? Again a weird question but I couldn't help but notice that small detail lol.
@audreyparmentier26112 жыл бұрын
Haha yes, because we were so close to the mics they advised us either not to play or to play quieter as we passed by them since they were picking up stick-outs in the ensemble!

Aljhun Sindiong that book was a product of the legendary Jay Bocook! He’s always written some killer mello parts.
