They’re pretty popular in Europe still. They’re music is still pretty solid for a band that has been doing it as long as they have.

Yep this is when indie music was big in the UK … American post punk bands were more popular here than in the States. Still think they play 2-3 thousand capacity venues here

@@forumknight I've seen them a couple of times in the UK now, Cardiff and Manchester and the venues were tiny. Nice that they still tour here though

Like others in this comment section, I had this on VHS in like 2010 when I was much younger (about 6). My mom and I use the "Black Eye" bit from the ABC episode as an inside joke all the time

I had this too and the other cassette a long time ago, I used to watch it on television when I was a child and laughing at everything these chimpanzees got up to, I even had the books Eggs is eggs and Ghost boast. I loved the theme tune too, good old Chas and Dave.

38:14-49 Even if it was a real snake and it wasn't an Endangerd species Dad would still have bad trouble. Snakes are protected everywhere they're native' endangered or not and killing them is against the law.

God this takes me back. Bangers & Mash, Tugs, The Real Ghsotbusters and Children’s Ward a perfect ever I g after school. When Tv was great.

@@eleanorhogan8643 Tugs was short-lived by the same company that did Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. Principal was the same only it revolved around Tugboats. The models were reused in the background in Harbour scenes in Thomas. Children's Ward was a long-running drama geared at the older crowd about a Children's Hospital Up North.
