I love your videos. You do a great service for people with information and help if they can't either access a pelvic floor PT or can't get someone to listen to them properly. I am curious if you've ever done any videos (and if not, maybe would you consider?) wrt conditions like hypermobility/collagen disorders (such as hypermobile EDS) and how it might change what you can or should do for pelvic floor issues. I'm not the only one who must have difficulty knowing if "regular" suggestions are safe for me to even attempt.

My Gynocoligist just said my pain was due to a “pain cycle” from ovulation (mittelschmerz) and menstruation pain, and offered me hormonal treatment or a hysterectomy! Saw a pelvic physio therapist and I have muscle and nerve problems from tightness. I DID change my stage 3 organ prolapse to a stage 1-2 which has been amazing, but it’s come with chronic pelvic, hip flexor, and lower back pain! Learning to relax now so good timing with the video thank you for bring awareness ❤

Thank you! I have a question, when all is sucked in, I am wondering if i should tighten my pelvic floor muscles and low belly muscles (transverse)? If i dont do anything all these muscles feels pretty relaxed

There is an involuntary response in the abdomen in pelvic floor. It doesn't feel the same as when you voluntarily engage.

Wow! Thanks the explanation for breathing and visualizations is so helpful. The sheet of instructions I got from PT did not explain in depth how to breathe or what I should feel. When I messaged my PT for tips she just said we’ll talk at next appointment. Your pelvic yoga pants video was also very helpful! We women despite being mothers have little knowledge about the unique aspects of our bodies. 👍💖💖

This was very informative. I especially appreciate the portion about Estrogen as I am one of those who is fearful to use it due to cancer risks. My prescription is to put the cream on outside twice a week. I have Stage 2 prolapse. I have seen a pelvic floor PT. During our sessions her main focus was Kiegal exercises along with other stretch and breathing exercises. I found the sessions helpful. And am looking forward to finding out more about your 12 week program. I do have a pessary as prescribed by my doctor. However, I do not wear it all the time. I use it mostly when I know I'm going to be more active. For instance long walks, golf, Zumba exercise etc. I'm wondering if there is any issue with not wearing it all the time. I don't feel the need to have it in all the time. Your thoughts??

I highly recommend vaginal estrogen and I do recommend wearing the pessary as it can help with symptoms and may also help improve the prolapse over time and can help delay worsening.

Thanks for you great explanation! I was wondering if I should use the halfway point of the balloon since I don’t feel much. If I move the balloon a bit more outwards I feel much more tension. Which is the right way to stretch?

it is not uncommon ...could be related to tightness or your execution of the exercise

pain is a signal to stop. Discomfort is a signal to proceed slowly. 30 seconds ....you can do once or twice a day.

In the U.S.(fl) there is limited variety of pessary to a small suitcase container 5 styles and that's it. Also. Other restrictions to a urogyn . Also now there is a back call to get a pessary because the dr are requiring a 3 month new pessary. Other problem is getting an appt with a dr and a PT. Close to, at least, 2 months wait. Also, ER refuses to get a gyn dr to work with you. Thank you for the info on pessary.
