Those bikes have the exact wheelbase rake and trail as a 916 Ducati not as racy but a better more durable and powerful twin.I own a 98 and the brakes are weak and spongy and suspension is soft but ok , but they are stable and handle so easy and great.

The air box clips can be easily released by using an 8mm socket on a long extension. You fit the socket over the four prongs and push down while pulling up on that corner of the box. The box will pop right out.

Hi Duncan, man wish I could tell you off hand but I have since sold the bike so can't go out and look. It may be possible to see me catch it in one of the other videos. I tried searching online for you, but only see the top half of the hose and not where it follows through. Wish I could have gotten better pictures when doing these videos but had no helper with the camera.

Hi, your cam sensor ocated should be located on the drivers side of the head under the engine motor mount. You should be able to get to it from from the back side.

Sorry to hear about that. I hate thieves! You should be able to remove the ignition lock from the steering stem and install a new one. The ignition cylinder/lock acts as your steering lock.

the easy way to get the box out is to use a socket. Don't remember what size, maybe an 11 or 12 mm and a little wd40. Spray the plastic plug and jam the socket down over it. This will close the plug just enough to lift the box up and clear it. Repeat at the other two locations.

Japanese Phillips head screws need a JIS (Japanese industrial standard screwdriver) to keep from camming out- US Phillips screwdrivers will not work. Actually, the Phillips head that comes in the Honda tool kit works quite well

You swaped the 2 sensors at the same time? Don't you know which sensor was the bad one? I have the exact same problem on my 2001 S60 T5, I already swaped the sensors, sometime the motor starts and runs just fine for a while and sudly it takes 10 ou 15s to start or even several attempts.
@threeboysgarage
@threeboysgarage 2 жыл бұрын
I suspect it's your fuel pump. If you have replaced both sensors and still have a hard starting issue. Your fuel system is likely losing pressure slowly when the car sits so you have to crank it awhile to build the pressure back up. At least on the 2004 the fuel pump is a common hard starting culprit. Not sure with the newer 21's. You should be under warranty right? Just let the dealer fix it.
@the_vortex
@the_vortex 2 жыл бұрын
@@threeboysgarage the fuel system seems to be ok. it has about 4 bars of pressure and sometimes the car starts just fine if it stays still for 3, 4, 5 days. I think the issue is the crank sensor. It has about 125 ohms. seems to be quite low. Sorry! is not 2021 but 2001 model! my bad!

Thanks. Yes, some people install a manual switch as well so they can force the fan on as needed before it gets to the heat temp for the 'temp switch to kick in'. For example, if you are stop-n-go traffic and it's backed up, get the fan running now.
