This city council is trash. Waste our tax dollars on a rail line nobody is using. They already have the plans for the south expansion

The whole line should be off the ground, not just before the station. Biggest waste of Tax Payers money i've ever seen. Someone fire this City council and any city planners. in 30 years this will be the biggest infrastructure mistake the city has ever done.

Been lovin the LRT update videos. I lived in Edmonton 26 years. Left in '96.
@d_r_watson9 күн бұрын
I enjoyed watching that. Any chance you could add captions to say if the line will be elevated, at grade or below ground and for the stations. Maybe this will all be more obvious as construction advances, but there were a few points I wasn’t sure. The music choice was spot on! Thanks.

If no 1 was working on the LRT valley line 2 weeks ago, then why give a fuck about investing in transit especially if the mayor doesn't want to invest in it. He used to be a bus driver himself in this city , so I'm just saying if the mayor doesn't care why the fuck shall we the citizens care.

Flying ANY size of a drone for commercial purposes(youtube monetization) over prohibited areas or breach of privacy - FINE. Flying a drone in national and provincial park - HUGE FINE. Flying a drone into Edmonton police chopper - charges under the Criminal Code and the Aeronautics Act. Anyway, I reported your to both city of Edmonton and EPS. Have a nice day.

I have reread the Edmonton regulations and until I can get further clarification will no longer be flying over Edmonton.

156st another Rd permanently F**ked up by the Moronic City Council, who were truly Delusional as how much this F**ked up Downtown Accessibility, and increases Greenhouse Gas Emissions by reducing the # of Lanes to Accommodate the LRT, and wasting More for God Damn Bike Lanes. Stony Plain Rd, is looking like it was designed to Conceal the Weaving of Impaired Drivers...

Can see some Houses that are Evidence that some People aren't paying Enough Income Tax Hawerluk Park is still a Mess and still 2 1/2 - 3 yrs from completion, except it will inaccessible for most people as there will be far fewer Parking Spots and Cars will not be permitted past the Parking Lot on the North End. Only the Effin Bikes will be allowed in. Useless City Council It is a Travesty that River Rd was not extended thru MacKinnon Ravine to meet up with Stony Plain Rd and 100th ave at 149st. Access to the West End has been Severely Choked with the Loss of Stony Plain Road, and 102 Ave being messed up with the LRT and Bike Lanes Victoria Hill Rd has been Effed Up Again. Useless god damn Bike Lane takes a Lane away from Real Traffic

Bicycles should be Banned for Hawrelak Park. they Rarely obeyed the Speed Limit, and the Bastards were always riding going the Wrong Way on the One Way Lanes, including Entering the Park using the Exit Lanes. More than Once I had a Bike hit the Front of my car.

I was wondering what that Eyesore being built was. Looks like the Pool to the South will be demolished? They will need Parking Spaces The Space Sciences Center was Originally planned to be located in the River Valley by the Baseball Field, but some Land Developers wanted to build Houses down in the Flood Zone...

They are restoring the pool. Agree there doesn't seem to be much parking.

River Rd should be Extended through that Ravine to 149st. To recover a Path between the West End and Downtown, that was lost due to the LRT and Unneeded Bike Lanes
@pjimmbojimmbo1990Ай бұрын
The Road thru the Park should have been Widened to allow Parallel Parking on Both Sides, and a Total Ban of Bicycles on it, as those Bastards NEVER obey the Speed Limit, and were forever Riding the Wrong Way. I had a Couple become Hood Ornaments on my car when they were riding into the Park using the Exit Lanes The Old Park was much Better than the BS design they are making it

@richardmark268Ай бұрын
I do not see why they are working on the entire 12K? route at the same time. Would think that it might be better if they concentrated on an area and got it finished for vehicle use then proceed to another section. I live by a major bike lane and there is very little traffic. Why is there no bike registration and requirement for insurance. Fees might help pay for them.
