Funny, like so many names, the name 'Charlie' has been undergoing a gender-shift since this aired. Quite a few women use 'Charlie' now - with an 'ie' - , prolly since that line of perfumes came out.

I always had an attraction to Reva Rose.I know most people would consider her homely, especially in this "wonderful" modern era of artificial anesthetic enhancements. But I always really enjoyed her face,particularly when she smiles. There was an appealing feminity about Reva that is disappearing in our society and much of the "Western World". I expect Ms Rose is no longer with us. I know I could easily look it up but I guess I'd rather not know and just remember her as she was. BTW I was 9 years old when Love American Style debuted.

Why would anyone ever roommate with Loco? A most unattractive character.
@ianedwards44004 ай бұрын
The handsome six-footer who plays Loco's dubious boyfriend is actor, Ron Ely. In his career, he also played the part of Tarzan in a movie or TV show.

The Method from How to marry a millionaire tells how Loco feels sorry for a guy she thinks is a bum. Actually, he's rich and an upcoming actor, who is trying the live the part of a beggar. What she misconstrues leads to many hilarious situations, one more absurd than the other. But, from this episode you will learn that Loco is a softy by heart and helps the poor guy with cash endlessly. When he confesses to her that he's actually a millionaire's son and was only play-acting, she blows her top and thinks that this is again a new angle he is using to deceive her. Lisa Gaye and Merry Anders do some sleuthing of their own to try and unravel the plot behind the facade. Definitely worth a watch to see Loco in action with gorgeous Gaye and Anders adding to the fun.

No one can ever compete, when it comes to comedy, with Barbara Eden. As Loco, she just walks away with the role. Her timing is perfect; she doesn't act, but literally lives the role. Both Lisa Gaye and Merry Anders lend their support, but the winner at the end is always Loco, who is incomparable. I loved her better in this role when compared to the Jeannie persona. I am very glad, 20th Century Fox restored and brought out the series again for today's watchers. Picture quality too is above rapproach.

What is acting? Acting is a complex alchemy of inner and outer experiences, awareness and skills that are drawn from many sources and then filtered through the unique persona of the actor. The actor in question here being the very versatile, Barbara Eden, Loco of How to marry a millionaire. She parlayed her comedic instincts into a sitcom deal because she instinctively knew where the punchline was in a joke. Her character of Loco spring-boarded her to pop-culture, iconic status. I Dream of Jeannie made her a star of popular stature. She did not attend any acting school per se, but had an innate acting ability that was brought out instinctively in the many roles she essayed. She was discovered in a play that received rave reviews and brought to Hollywood for an acting career that took off like a rocket. One of her first roles in films was the Paul Newman starrer, "From the terrace", where she meets him at a lavish party and almost immediately, she has her hands all over him, giving him a tiny, quick smooch. This part took place on a brief hiatus from the show "How to marry a millionaire".

Gwen and Mike are the main accused in a crash they never committed. For one, they don't own any vehicle, then how could the crash have happened. This one's a lot of fun with Loco adding to the hilariousness. Lisa Gaye's a dream and this episode is to be seen without fail. I won't hurt to colorize it too.

I'm really surprised that the character of "Charlie Watkins" was never mentioned in the clip as, "Agent 38(C)," like the title read. That joke was the only reason I clicked on this clip.

Is there any chance of colorizing this episode. Lisa Gaye is a downright 'DREAM' in the dining room sequences. Her wardrobe is astounding! What a dream!!!
