I never watched Gossip girl, I wanted to watch this movie in the theatre but now I won’t. She’s definitely proven in that interview that she’s not deserving of it. I feel quite sad because I think this violence between closed doors deserves real attention it’s not a joke. These woman’s need to be inspired and empowered to make a difficult change. A change that puts them in great danger. I guess if they would have chosen a great actress like Amy Adams we wouldn’t be promoting the movie the same way..

I saw this movie 2 days ago. Before I saw this video. It is a romance number one, and the domestic violence part slowly works into the plot, with the main character slowly seeing the mess she is in. Her flower shop and how it is put together is very interesting, very creative and beautiful. This is a very interesting movie, a very multi dimensional movie. As the different characters react to their individual trauma in both healthy and unhealthy ways. I would go see it again.

Blake is so into herself and the Hollywood bubble that can’t see beyond themselves that it compromises ANY humanity and kindness and courtesy beyond their image (in their own eyes). There are genuine and wonderful actors, directors and writers out there but the majority are so shallow that everyone else is disappointed and doesn’t care what they do or say. The monetary results will be obvious in lack of ratings, movie attendance. There is so much real beauty and love in the world that we can focus on.

Keeping aside all the drama...the real issue is how she betrayed millions of readers who related to the main protagonist's experience of domestic violence, subsequent trauma and cycle of abuse. It robbed loyal readers of a hope to break the cycle of abuse by seemingly trivialising a serious subject that we as women experience at so many levels. Alright, she is privileged and maybe fortunate enough not to have experience the same in her life. However, as an artist she has at least an artistic liability on which count she failed miserably.

I thought your video on this situation was very good. I recommend that people seeing it understand that it is very important to support women and especially women supporting women BUT there is no reason to support someone with problematic behavior male or female. Blake has always had a rep for problematic behavior and she clearly is behaving in that manner now. That’s why she is mad and playing victim because her behavior is being called out and recognized publicly. Maybe she needs to see that her behavior and actions have caused harm and it’s not just about herself.
