Yes, but futile as a round from a gun is much more effective and economical.

the one thing that I have noticed over the years with American Kenpo are they extending out of shape fat people that are doing the art that are completely out of shape lose the weight represent the art

i 100% agree when i first started kenpo wanted to learn how to defend myself and i was really into techniques and i didn't bother practicing form but i now realise a form is a beautiful thing and gives u great pride in learning and it gives you tools to help fight as well

very nice job, you don't see too many form 4's where the kick punch combo is used right through just as it should be. Well done.

@hughhughp68 I come from the streets. been fighting knives and fists. Seen more shit than anyone rly should. What i talk about i base on what ive been thru personally. If u wanna become a good fighter. FIGHT. Do sparring. Learn simple techniques and stop wasting time on "precise" bullshit katas wich have no real value and doesnt teach u shit about yourself or fighting in general. Learn, Know, LIVE. Peace. One.

Much respect to you sir. However, these katas were not meant to be put into street practice and they do teach you much about yourself. They make everything you do better. However you fight now, will be much improved by practicing movement. When you fight, you are already doing Kenpo as every move you make is part of the universal pattern. And I gaurantee you that every move you make could be improved. I have fought on the streets, sparred, taught Krav Maga, and studied Kenpo when I was in High School. I always come back to Kenpo as it makes everything I do better. Much respect, sir.

@Sheikkailija Haters gotta hate. Said like a typical sparring banger who is jealous they don't have this kind of physical control over their body. Bet you suck at techniques too, and have difficulty remembering simple patterns. If you're wondering why, it's because you lack the mental faculties to do so.

As a Shotokan practitioner I've only ever seen Kenpo katas on KZfaq and I've always thought Long 3 looked like line dancing. This version is the only time I've seen it performed with speed AND power - great job, well done.

Nice shitty kata. This guy would get fucked up in a street fight tho. This is not even near of what u should be training if u wanna be a good fighter. Its like this: if u wanna kick. Traing kicking. Like bruce lee said. RIP!
