Nope. Since you drill metal at slow speed into a materials that relatively consistent throughout, the change of the bit jamming is low. In wood where you're drilling at very high speed with a lot of pressure into a surface with varying grain, knots, and wood densities, the change your bit jams is much higher and the torque that kicks back into your wrist is much greater. It cuts a pretty clean hole. There is typically a gland or seal that goes around the conduit and seals to the IMP. So even if the hole slightly blows out it's not a concern.
