I had used a phone technician to replace my wife's screen but then couple weeks later it wasn't working again and i wasn't going to pay so much money again. So i bought the replacement kit from amazon and came here and thanks to this video i saved a lot of money and learnt a skill... there was some difference parts like the battery plate that wasn't on the phone in this video. I also had to slow down the video cuz it was too fast loool..Thanks again!

Thank you I was able to replace the screen perfectly. It took me over an hour just to get my cracked screen off, using a blow dryer and an xacto knife, but with lots of patience and following the video I was able to replace my screen and have my phone work.

Followed everything through - Tried to turn it on at the end and the screen is black - I could hear my phone working when I plugged it on (charging noise pinged) then it got really hot in a couple of minutes. Now I'm getting nothing! Any suggestions?

Hey I made sure to follow all the steps and when I just gently pressed into adhesive glue the screen wont turn on at all I know the phone is on cause its giving me shut down keys haptic feedback. Ordered from amazon 🙁

Great video, but I would do more detail. Like show the camera inside or compare how many normal items can fit inside with it off. Just to give an idea of how big it is because you cant measure a towel. (use a water bottle for example) also, place it on the ground not the counter for reference. Thanks!

That home button removal was hardest part. SE literally had a foam that is attached with adhesive to both display and home button. Even with SE, they made repair tricky.

You do not say to unplug the battery. After watching back I see u unplug it but you do not say it only unplug the ribbon cables. I didnt unplug it and now my phone just has the apple symbol on and off. I'm guessing it fried the battery. And now I can't give it back when I upgrade my phone.
