5150 is a beast, county used the same one for 9 straight summers mowing shoulders. That's continuous cutting for at least 6 hours a day through the summers. Only one gearbox and some stich welding for major repairs in 9 years

Appreciate the comment and glad to hear the 5150 continues to exceed expectations!

Great video, but one thing I would like is to see what brand and size and PTO horsepower tractors you are using in your videos. Thanks for posting.

How well does this unit now uneven ground
@RhinoBornToLead2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! The X series is not intended to mow uneven grounds. The wings are designed for a maximum contour of about 10 degrees. For more contour cutting, you'll want to look into our R Series (R126).

Will it cut with the wings up? If you have to cut between gates or trees?

I hope Rhino learned how to paint since 2008. I have an FR15 and a TW96 that have lived their entire lives stored in a very dry barn. They have not even been used in the rain but a time or two. The paint jobs on both of them are just about gone. Flaked off. I guess I'll have to strip them down, phosphate them and repaint. Sure not going to put Rhino badges on them after that though. Just really shoddy quality control if you can't put paint on a machine that will stand up being stored in a barn. Oh, and faded just from being out in the sun in light use. I'll try Modern with the galvanized coating next time. Yeah, I'm pretty disgusted with Rhino. Thought I was buying the best at the time.

Thanks for the video. All dealers should watch and understand this video. When I picked up my new TS10 yesterday, the wings were drooping when raised, and when I asked the dealer if they leveled the wings, they said they adjusted the links until the wing mounted tires touched the ground when raised....

There is no way that is that easy to grease those shafts. You come to our house and show us how to do it that easy.

I'm making a purchase in the next few days and the TS 12 is top of the list. Help me out, I have been using a John Deere MX8. I'm 60HP at the PTO and in heavy/tall grass the MX8 would bring the tractor almost to a stall. Even going slow (1.5-2 MPH) it would struggle with tossing out the material and not cut cleanly. Before spending the $ on a TS 12 what can I expect compared to the MX8?

It's too bad how farms work doesnt do small squares to market your grapple. Travis does have a buddy that makes idiot blocks and would sell a bunch of grabs. He works in parts and farms.

Umm is that really how you grease the front and rear u-joints? That looked like he was only greasing the shaft cover so that it could spin.
