My number tip... quit social media. All of it. Uninstall all of them. If you make money from it, tough, make it elsewhere. Your sanity and mind will thank you later on in life 😘

Basic simple tiny house or out-house should be allowed because not everyone can afford to a regular house to call home and stay safe. Please allow basic tiny home for everyone to be able to have a home and be safe in Canada. The regulations of building permit are not fair and not kind.

We bought because I was very tired of water logged food, especially fresh veggies. We got it in 2020 when we bought a teardrop camper....we have since upgraded to a small camper with a built in, very small fridge (3.5 cu ft). Keeping this....believe me, it's just amazing! It's really a fantastic unit! It's just two of us and it's always held what we needed to go and it's about to become part of our camper when we hit the road in retirement!

We are back to punishing the poor again while actually creating homeless! We need to stop! Like having EV charging stations, lets provide! Truckers get to stay overnight at rest stops but i know people harrassed doing same in a car by both the truckers and sherrif just visiting family and not wanting to get a motel for a day and half drive AND they were built for families traveling in 50s not truckers! No suitcases, not living in car?! But told to move along?! At 4am?! Start there!

Do you by chance have another video where we could see what the ceiling looks like? The camera person didn't let us see what you were talking about about the ceiling they just kept the camera on your face and I would really like to know what the ceiling is made of and how you constructed it because that's the only reason I clicked on this video.

...I have never lived anywhere where people have the nerve to ask. Where do you go to the toilet. It's like asking a gay couple about their sex life. It is plain ignorance. Would you ask an OAP couple about their sex life? Would you ask a CEO where he goes to the toilet? A priest, a solicitor or a JEW CHRISTIAN OR ISLAMIST? No, you wouldn't. But for some reason (And I know what it is) people that get into van life are always being asked where they go to the toilet. It's IGNORANCE. And a wake up call for said van lifers for once they were the CEO's and MANAGERS and etc...Deal with it. It's prejudices...

Man, that's the life! Some people just don't understand what it's like to have the constant pull of adventure in their heart. All they see is a homeless man, but all I see is a man who craves adventure and doesn't want to be tied down. He is living his best life. Sure, it's not for everybody, but we all have a different path to walk in life.

This could be the pre-Mad-Max decade(s). I'm used to the nomadic life: on a bicycle, 50.000 km through 42 countries in Asia, Europe and America over the past 13 years. This guy has at least 10 times the amount of possessions I have, and I only lug around 1/5 of mine on the bike (the other 4/5 being in storage). We all have to downsize. MAD MAX. All because people are not aware or willing to change the economic system. Plutocracy, oligarchy... it's eventually unsustainable unless you get rid of humans (happening already with the declining birth rates) and substitute all labor with robots and AI (happening already), and eventually -for the transitional phase- gives robots a "salary," make them pay taxes and have them also pay for their consumables (spare parts, maintenance, oil change, etc). So the future is a plantation full of AI powered robots minded by a few human supervisors, all for the benefit of the techno-feudalistic elites, the surviving 0.1% who will presumably still be human or somewhat like cyborgs. Androids and cyborgs. Happy family. On the way there, Mad Max time! 😉

Fridges need Thermal Mass to Work Properly (you need to put stuff in it) anything, it doesn't have to be food. otherwise it will prematurely die. it wont cool right and the compressor will give out.

June 26, 2024 Excellent video here at 'Different Media'!!! You might design two of these, for the millions who don't want to walk upstairs to a loft. They could be connected with a covered deck, to be used as a daily salad garden. Recently in the news: Melinda French Gates started her own 1 billion fund to improve the lives of women. Maybe Louise could get paid to work with her staff to basically copy this (make it unique for each woman) for about four billion females, four billion pets (work with all the animal rescue organizations to provide sliding scale housing to all pets and their owners or guardians, free spay neuter to prevent daily killing of healthy animals), four billion first responders to live in these for sliding scale (as low cost as possible). The human population is supposed to double about every forty years, so this is extremely important! Right now there is major flooding or fires in many states of the USA. Fires lead to flash floods later. Ideally, these could be built on top of structures designed by ship experts to make them float in a flash flood (dams breaking, etc.). The Netherlands has designed many family houseboats where it is safe enough to put a baby in a crib below the water line. The author Fleming 'Fixing the Sky' at the channel 'Woodrow Wilson Center' recommends copying the Netherlands to prepare for common flooding with digging sunken outdoor 'basketball courts' to collect rain water, then pump it out as needed. This could help every fire department, etc. On same subject matter, please watch and discuss 'The Dimming' and watch all the annual conferences by engineer Dane Wigington (not a typo!!!). He lives in a nature preserve similar to this near Mt. Shasta, California. He has traveled much of the world, underwater, as a deep sea scuba diver, since age fourteen. Please watch his interview of RFK (not a typo!!!) Jr. You could work with Majora (not a typo!!!) Carter who is an expert on saving endangered plants. See her introduction in the book 'The Vertical Farm' by Dr. Despommier (not a typo!!!). Lysteria (not a typo!!!) mass outbreak in state of Maryland, by company with the name 'cool' for frozen desserts, including Hershey's chocolate. This could all be prevented if the world went with 'cultured milk' 'cultured cheese' 'cultured cream cheese' 'cultured butter' and 'cultured meat' (all animals including fish, to help slow down the extinction of all dolphins, all whales). See news videos of the successful 'cultured meat' company in Alameda, California. There have been other successful 'cultured meat' companies but the owners have ruined them by spending all their profits on buying an American football team, spending on luxury items, etc. This is why we need people like Melinda French Gates to make sure specific 'cultured meat' and 'cultured dairy' go to fill up Food Banks in every zip code; school lunch programs, etc. She might get successful creating a 'cultured cream cheese' mixed with 'cultured salmon or cultured cavier black eggs (not a typo!!!) or cultured steak or (cultured chicken liver all cats, dogs love this!!!)' that will appeal to the most wealthy people. This money might support filling up all the Food Banks. This should have been done twenty years ago!!! Another pet food warning: the company that sell most of America's candy: Mars, also owns a pet food company called Pedigree. Tiny bits of metal were found in the pet food. This might also happen with their candy! Please don't buy either one!!! This is why even our pets need 'cultured meat'!!! This is why all Halloween candy needs to be made with 'cultured dairy' to prevent lysteria (not a typo!!!) which can be deadly for thousands of customers!!! All the above might be sold for every city, county, state, nation in order to keep all fire departments operating fully. Many have resorted to selling deadly fireworks at annual fundraisers just to 'keep the fire department from shutting down'. This could include popular 'cultured diamonds' to keep 8 billion people out of debt to any bank. Best Wishes to All

Paying rent and not having a car is not actually more expensive than buying a car and maintaining it. So I don't really understand why they say this lifestyle is cheap ? Car insurance, fuel, registration, mods, van conversion.. it costs so much money!

Nice ideas. I converted my nature head. Cleaning it got too old and nasty for me. I took out the crank system and put in a bucket (that fits) and use plastic bags and horse bedding/shaving … it never smells. Then it is easy to dispose of. Handful to start and after business handful on top. You can use a milk crate for the very cheep wood shavings, almost available everywhere. Good job and keep the highest morals and glad you made it through the service.
