The first one has always been my favorite version of the song. It has such a unique vibe about it---a little mischievous and mysterious. I hear it and think, "Well this is kind of a creepy vibe," but never suspect the hidden malice underneath.

I feel so sorry for this game, square could have done much more for this game if they would have given more time, story feels so half baked, world building is not properly done which is the main aspect of every final fantasy, otherwise it's world is vast enough to have a trilogy of it's own

Even though Yoko Shimomura composed Ardyn's theme, it actually sounds along the lines of the old Uematsu-composed FF villain themes, and not very much like a typical Shimomura track. The first Ardyn theme this at least somewhat makes sense in that she co-composed it with Yoshitaka Suzuki, though the others she did on her own.

Somehow a punchable, smarmy git and a lovable trickster.

Before You read: ffxv is my First Final Fantasy so i can't compare Ardyn to Others villains Like sephiroth or Others. And i am German so i Player in German and i am talking about the German edition. Ardyn is my favourite Videogame villain i don't think anyons ever gave me a Feeling of beeing purely scared. I love all of them but not a single one is like the first one, his true theme. It's so mischievous in a dark and twisted way. Like I know who you are but you don't know me. I mean come on look at him, behind that nice smile is the devil himself. The other themes play when you already know his true intentions. Yoko Shimomura is an effing genius <3
