The idea of building with what you can get ahold of is what brought me to subscribe. I have 160 acres in SW Colorado that had a bunch of old farm stuff on it and this is exactly what I do... Use what I have.

I see you got some more pallets... I haven't gotten more as of yet, but I'm know I'll get some more soon enough. I love this channel & have learned ALOT on how you use the pallets in EVERY way... Floors, Beams, Roof... My next structure build I will GO SLOW/take my time & do the same... EFFICIENCY a wise use of materials does MATTER! 👍🏾 Don't take it for granted

Watching this video and the previous has been incredibly inspiring, we're gonna do a "shed" expansion in a similar fashion in the next few days. I've been a little worried because honestly we'll be doing it out of necessity as well, so the worry really comes from knowing It's really our only affordable option. In the past hour watching P1 and Part 2 of this series I've gone from worry to excitement, can't wait to see more. Thanks for putting this one up

A time lapse of how we built the 2nd floor for our tiny pallet house build! We are building a house out of pallets on our off grid mountain! We are not doing this to be trendy or cool, but to save money and build our home on a budget. It will start as a one room, 2 floor house that will look like a Pallet Tower and we will continue to add on more rooms later on. It's not perfect, but it's a very sturdy floor made out of used pallets! #steepinthewoods #palletprojects #tinyhouse Website: www.steepinthewoods.com/ Donate through paypal: www.paypal.me/SteepInTheWoods Buy T Shirts: teespring.com/stores/my-store-10061584 Become a Member kzfaq.info/love/Z_OUIxS6UyIe4uOP6NabpQjoin Our Amazon Storefront: www.amazon.com/shop/steepinthewoods Amazon Wishlist: www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/22G319KHMP2NN?ref_=wl_share Or hit the like & subscribe button! **DISCLAIMER** This video and description contains affiliate links, which means that if you click on one of the product links, I’ll receive a small commission. Get yourself a trenching shovel. It is narrow and easier to work with when digging in our mountains here in Appalachia. This is how I dug my spring sans the rods. 750 feet from house, gravity fed. Best tasting water.

I'm back finally. I have had a odd last few weeks. Felt very introverted and not wanting to do my regular normal things I enjoy doing. Just recently decided to bite the bullet on a mini bike and plan to get it Monday. Then based on what we have after bills possibly the 12 as well. Hope y'all are well

Joist hanger needs a bottom, especially if you aren't shear nailing. Good idea, but not a safe hanger

I'm developing your same exact project, but over here in central Italy, in a mobile home instead of an RV. You exude the very same level of simplicity I've taken on in my own life in the past few years. I'm alone developing my project, so my determination runs low at times. But you can always get me back on track. Back to my spring development kit now, thanks to you!

Definatly go back and add nails they are stronger and have more shear strength screw are harder and more brittle as you can tell when you hit one with a hammer and it snaps off instead of bending like a 10p nail

Looks almost like Georgia clay, I’m doing the same thing in Loganville Georgia. My exit pipe disintegrated from my septic tank. I’m reconnecting it to 3 field lines or leach lines whatever they are called lol.

This is awesome. My dad is a master builder/craftsman from Norway. We all grew up in the trade & had to learn most every job. Glad to find your channel when you have already started. I will be bing watching for a bit. 😁 And i feel the same way about screws. My husband does now too. When ee build our home 25 years sgo he learned how great they are. I only wish we found land without building codes. Subscribed
