Yeah so relatable... I totally will go buy a 40,000 dollar grill tomorrow. This is why I don't respect Stephen.

Ya I would rost it until 111 and let it rest 40 minutes, or take it down at at 105 and put it on whole on the grill to give it better char on outside shiukd gave lots of flavour
@acaciomadeira514714 күн бұрын
Should have rubbed it with an oil so the salt sticks to the roast that's going to be one bland roast

Probably the worst way to season a huge hunk of meat like this. Are you really a professional?? Stick to painting Rolph

trick I use for asparagus wrap in paper towels that are wet microwave 3 to 5 minutes before you put on the grill. that way they're almost cooked and you can just finish with the smoky earthy fire

Yeah, prime rib is expensive. But, have you bought a whole leg of lamb lately? Probably not. But let me tell you, the flavor is as rich as the price. Absolutely delicious. And, all natural. No feed lots, antibiotics, all grass fed. No matter how you cook it, it is tasty or more tasty than any prime rib roast you can buy. Try it with roast potatoes and asparagus. You'll love it

Why not put some type of binder on the meat so that the seasonings stick, such as beef tallow or another high-heat oil? Everything just fell off, seems like a waste.

BRIEF UPDATE 5/10/2023: IN CASE ANYONE IS WONDERING ABOUT THE PRICE OF THE KALAMAZOO GRILL, WELL, AS OF NOW IT'S: $33,815.00! FOR THIS TYPE OF GRILL, NOT SURPRIZING, BUT FRANKLY THIS PRICE IS BEYOND GREED, IT'S OUTRAGEOUS!! SHOP AROUND FIRST, THERE ARE NO DOUBT COMPARABLE GRILLS SIMILAR TO THIS AT MUCH LESS COST. GEEZ, YOU CAN BUY A NEW CAR FOR THAT PRICE!

7:08 - "Biggest steaks I've ever seen...and obviously going to be SHARED by more than one person?" Who said so? You must not know any TEXANS that START with 32 oz. steaks and go up from there. EVERY Ribeye I cook on the grill is a minimum of 1 1/2 inches thick and almost always 2+" which equals about a 32-36 ounce steak...for ONE!

Looks great! The one thing I don't like is that it appears that all or most of the lump needs to be removed when it comes time to get to the ash pan? If so, that's a real pain.
