There is no perfect figure but imo Cala typically gets pretty damn close. Love the look and the shelf presence. Glad you were able to get one.

Agree with you 100 percent. One of the things I love about this line is the uniformity...and I'm not talking deco, I'm talking engineering sculpt and options...I don't find it boring like others because it allows more creativity. I have alot of people to thank for picking up this figure..I hope to pay it forward at one of the next shows.

Great review. The figure looks awesome. I prefer this version compared to the 1.0 version due to the Ram's head mask and color choices (so he matches more with the Garrison and Kerak). Unfortunately, I will have to wait until it goes up on the site as I can't attend his remaining conventions.

I actually had a spare SDS Bone Collector that I bought to use as kitbash parts, so I added the old one's thigh holster to mine and have a spare neutral head sculpt I can use. Still holding out hope that Bobby gives us some Brotherhood of Bone troop builders soon. 🤞

Ammo 2 Go, I did the EXACT same thing with mine! Now I wanna say I'm right in this..but the SDS thigh holster..the metal plate is the exactly same metal appearance as the body armor plates! that consistency is what I love man...And I do like the neutral head with the 2.0 body...like in my head canon, that screaming face is more fitting for his wetwork stuff with the brotherhood...screaming about...That dead stare face on the 2.0...that's more scary because he's just in the moment for killing and moving that mini gun across the battlefield while his troops advance towards Action Force or Republic forces. I'm glad you commented, I have somethings in mind to kitbash his brotherhood....plus I'm loving what others have done for their collections!

@junkioncraftsandbuilds Yes! Love the fact that they're the exact same shade, so it doesn't look out of place on him. Also love the fact that it was loose enough to easily fit on his leg, but tight enough that it doesn't move at all once it's on.

Replay squad!!!! I have been salivating to hear what was in the panel. And now that I'm home I can finally say where I was since I didn't go to DFW... I was at disneyworld with my fam for 10 days. Our first visit! Was planned before DFW so it was locked in. Maybe next year...? Gonna catch your reaction vid later tonight. Can't wait!!!

In fairness, the only KZfaqr that I know of only talked about the panel. He didn't post any pictures and didn't go into a ton of detail. Which personally I don't think is a problem at all. DFW had a ton of great folks and I had some fantastic conversations. If that show was an example of "toxic" Fandom, I'm all for it. Being new to Valaverse I am very excited for the reissues. You're reaction on Trigger was the same as mine.....lol The upgrade kit is a lock for me, but I might need a muddy stealth Vanguard........ My wallet writhed in pain and anguish with every slide......lol

Are you saying that more accessories like alternate heads..or like smaller figures that "attach" to Monet? Refresh my memory about their storyline because it's been a LONG time since I read Generation X...Penance and such...Thought the design of their brother was kinda dumb looking.

@@junkioncraftsandbuilds Right, okay. In Generation X, the original idea was that “Monet” was actually two twin sisters, Claudette and Nicole, who fused into a gestalt of a superhero. However, a lot of editorial loved Monet so they had it that Monet is real and Claudette and Nicole combine to make their fantasy version of who they believed was the strongest person they knew; their sister. Basically, imagine if the figure popped open and revealed the twins inside.

AHH Gotcha..Thanks for the TLDR on her. That sounds wild...it sounds like she'd be more of a BAF size..or the twins would basically be some kinda of non articulated accessories..OR they'd make a 3 pack and have some unique tooling for the twins.

His products are really nice...Still, like any 3D printed item, I was careful with the Chin Gun blast effects..those flare pieces were tiny and sharp..They look great. I may do a little drybrush on them to create a little more depth...but he's done some great stuff...let's keep him busy!

If you're looking for a good deal on some great stands, mezco sells a 3 pack of stands for 25 dollars...I do prefer them to the neca stands because of the ability to tweaks the tension with screws
