It's clear that these guys are not "seasoned" fisherman. However, the way that you are treating them is a bit "harsh" for sure. Rather than take out friends fishing, and then getting frustrated at them when they don't do things correctly, why not just go fishing solo? The manner in which you acted would ensure that if you asked me to go fishing with you, I'd politely decline for sure. Yes, your friends made numerous mistakes, but they were having fun. You, on the other hand, were not having fun and your attitude certainly contributed to that.

Hi James, enjoy your videos! On that first fish, when line went slack just put it in gear and wind through! I did put in gear and wind through - and keeps spitting out the west coast hd350. So i started hooking it with rip roller jig (capt said the exact same response as you). But i got you. And i put in low gear intentionally . This was technically my 2nd fish on 2nd night. (No video on first fish, forgot to turn on) but first fish kicked my butt. (Also made me little cautious because First night i lost a big boy to guide issues (2 guides had a crack) on my seeker 1x3 rod - snapped the braid while pulling the fish. ) Thanks - hope you have a great season as well.
