What a fun, breath of fresh air matchup. I miss SF4 when characters were released all at the same time, now in 6 there is no online diversity, only the newest DLC character everywhere.

I would like to know other people's strategy for going against something that is doing complete TURTLE mode like what Angrybird did, especially near the end.
@markfowlermusic19 күн бұрын
No chip damage and defensive mode like the annoying akuma player is doing really ruins the game in a way, it’s like he wasnt even bothered or interested in actually fighting the ryu player, I would have quit well before. What can ryu do apart from try to do the DR overhead which you can see a mile away coming, his endless fireballs won’t matter because of no chip damage…
@stevenoconnor569319 күн бұрын
@@markfowlermusic what ruins the game is when you have a character that takes so much power that didn’t need a buff which was RYU and yes, I have made him before for many years. He is now actually a very unbalanced character. You do not need the damage out put that he is at now. This franchise and many others have went more for the evo route of gaming than an actual fighting, which involves this.

@HadouCream16 күн бұрын
MY strategy: Starting from Street Fighter V, including Street Fighter VI, the player's energy (attention) consumption for defensive stances is higher than for offensive ones in most of cases if not all. Core strategies to counter turtle-style play can be developed from this. At this point, various feinting techniques can disrupt the player's attention. The more diverse the offensive methods a character has, the more challenging it is for players who use turtle-style play. Other than that, the offensive side still has to be patient until the opponent's attention wanes. You must be experienced to sense when your opponent is losing focus then launch a real attack when you feel confident. Additionally, gambling skills (command throw, command dash, aerial maneuver skills, etc.) can play a significant role in adding pressure to the defensive side or increasing the probability of a comeback.

Regardless of the result, Moke will really arrive at this EVO Japan solidly and in great shape without a doubt, he had an incredible month full of great results and managing to be at the top of the Street Fighter 6 legend ranking, he along with Leshar are the Chun Li player actually and by far, they are better than the rest, we will all support the chun players as always 😁.
@HadouCream3 ай бұрын
I doubt; hopefully, I'm wrong. Offline games are technically another game compared to ranked matches; therefore, I still doubt the competitive strength of high-ranking Chun-Li players (But I think TOP 32 is no problem for Moke ?). Well, let's see! EVO Japan 2024: 4.27 ~ 4.29, 2024
@Under_Raven3 ай бұрын
@@HadouCreamTechnically, Moke has done very well in professional tournaments before, beyond the fact that the level is better than many competitors in general, this year compared to the previous year, I think that Moke managed to recover his level considerably and now practically plays or competes almost automatically with that Chun Li... on the other hand Leshar I have faith and hope that he will be able to be at 100% of his abilities as he has been demonstrating this year, I also think that he will have a historic opportunity in this Evo Japan without a doubt. .. even save a screenshot of a response of his to Angrybird on Twitter saying that "I trust Chun Li's power" and honestly so do I.

@@Under_Raven Hey Raven, I envy your faithfulness. I also believe in Moke. It's just Chun-Li's instability that concerns me. The more times I hoped for Chun-Li in Top 8, the more disappointed I would be. Now I just want to falsely insist that Chun-Li won't be in Top 8 so I won't be disappointed anymore. I feel like such a coward. But my judgment is merely based on empiricism (this is what humans always do, but it's very pathetic when we find out we are wrong). I've decided to change my tone. There is no proof to say that Chun-Li can't win a tournament just because they haven't done it often.

great level and skill on the part of both Chun Li players...
