Beautiful car, you were considered posh back in the 70's driving a Granada, that's when Ford made proper cars unlike today's Ford's are rubbish...........

Unfortunatley there were some issues with our system, however, our website was still fully functional. We're not quite sure how technical difficulties could be illegal though?

It was always beyond me why Triumph produced these with a side valve engine, when they already made an OHV version of the same engine for Morgan! 38hp in a car of this size and weight was an issue. Go figure! Mind you I wish I had one now with a 1500 cc Spitfire engine ,o/d and Spit. disc brakes!

The SV engine was cheaper. S-T were always short of dosh. Their engineers worked wonders turning the 3-speed box into a 4-speed for the TR2/3. The body was expensive - outsourced and complicated. Mayflower didn't really sell - it remains a charming curiosity.

I've ran more of them into the ground than you would ever believe... £500 tops for one of them when i passed my test, had to be a named driver on insurance though haaa !!!

What a poor version Austin Mk2. This thing was reduced to a single Carb. Reducing it's already Looow / slooow power ... even further.
