Works on PS5. Used knuckles named it a lowercase x. Just gotta keep trying to button part. Thing is you can’t hold them down to just press tap them both. Reload if it scraps.

This did not work for me on PS. I think they fixed it. I did in the raider, went back and clicked what you said and then backed out. Nothing popped up about reputation. I tried it about 5 more times and backed out. I tried the other options too but nothing.I finally just let it run and got my reputation up. At least I got something. I’ll try again tomorrow

Every time I get to that screen for scrapping the item and have the mod slots in the background it just backs me out of the crafting and doesn't put your special in that spot after I select scrap

Someone help me, I don’t have ammo for the Piggy bank launcher that I glitched onto my 10mm pistol so now it won’t shoot. Do i have to get ammo for this to work or am I just doing something wrong with the glitch?

Dude your a literal liar I followed your steps had my friends who had a ps5 follow the steps and nothing dude they definitely patched the glitch even tried outside like you said and had my friends try that too on there 5’s nothing so nice try on getting views you have to have a save before the next gen update they patched any and all glitches in the next gen update as a many as they could

Still works as of July 2024. I was frustrated at first as it wasn't working and kept bringing up anything else wxcept the special book. I put all my belongings in a container that i was able to drop and i personally used knuckles as the weapon. I just keep renaming it different things until the book popped up. In my case naming the weapon to Z worked and i was able to max all stats to 10 at level 6.

If it keeps switching to steal hold 1 steal 😅

Also if you don’t want to loot lock the explosive handmade rifle, the kiloton radium rifle works good too. It’s just not as pretty and the rate of fire is not quite as good. You can however force glitch a lever action rifle receiver onto it to not only improve the fire rate but also get a bit more damage too.

I’ll give you guys a practical and usable recipe that is quite OP but not broken and can actually be used indoors. If you can figure out how to flick the analog stick down at the right time you can swap barrel mods or whatever is the second mod sot of the sacrificed weapon is. My favorite gun is a legendary explosive handmade rifle that had been glitch modded with an improved automatic laser barrel. That barrel will add the automatic effect onto the gun without needing the receiver to. This means you can put the advanced receiver on which had quite a bit more damage than the powerful automatic receiver but still retain the automatic status. Pair with the disciples paint, short scope and suppressor and you’ve got a good lookin and even better damaging version of spray n pray.

This does definitely work if Dogmeat doesn't keep running too far away. I keep having to tell him to stay and its just a waste of time. He is annoying the crap out of me! Does the other method of grabbing the item yourself right as it enters the storage container still work? I know that the timing on that is harder but I'm wasting so much time trying to keep Dogmeat near.

Damn, I thought I was the first person to discover this myself, guess I wasn't hahaha.

I found a much much better method a few days ago. No cheats, no mods, no nothing. You can play on Normal, Easy, Very Easy, and you can get up tp 50+ Legendary enemies in less than 6 hrs of play time. You will need to have/do some things first: 1. Have Nuka-World dlc. 2. Beat Nuka-World (by defeating the Raiders; don't join them.) 3. Have a weapon that is powerful, and have a few thousand ammo for it. (sometimes both enemies team up to kill you.) 4. Claim Red Rocket Settlement (DO NOT PLACE SETTLERS THERE) 5. Be able to Fast Travel while Overencumbered (you're going to want to loot everything) Not only will you get constant Legendaries; if you do it right: you'll level up twice per hour (real time.) Behind the Red Rocket Settlement is a 2/3-story building, unmarked. Go there and Raiders will be attacking whoever occupies it; take them all out (Scavengers in Nuka-World are good guys, killing them counts as murder but it's random mainly them Super Mutants and Gunners) then WALK BACK to the Red Rocket, dump everything you don't normally carry and fast travel to Dry Rock Gulch Theater. Go to the entrance and turn right walking toward the Power Station in the distance. You'll see Raiders running toward some warehouses/buildings to the left, there's a small opening in some bushes, I go into sneak mode and take them all out before they start fighting whomever (on Normal difficulty.) After looting their bodies and junk etc., fast travel back to the Red Rocket, dump your gear and go to the building behind the Red Rocket and it will have respawned new bad guys. Rinse and Repeat. I've been doing this for 3 days, a total of 13 hrs and I've collected 75+ Legendary items. Have gained 20 levels, and so much weapons/gear etc., I'm set for life. Even junk items respawn. No waiting who knows how long for locations to respawn; these two respawn consistently.

think it got patched, now after all the steps when you take it from the workbench after scraping it, you drop it on the floor and it picks it up instead of letting you choose a stat again.

does this still work? i’ve been trying and the scrap box shows up way too fast and no matter how many different timings i try i can’t get both options to show up
