Wonderful video, Kari! I like how you had your supplies prepared ahead of time (foil already cut, stenciling already done, etc.). It really helped keep the video moving. :) A tip I picked up from Lindsay Weirich, The Frugal Crafter, is you can use gloss gel medium instead of the transfer gel. I have tried it, and it works great! She even demonstrated it with gloss Mod Podge, and it accepted the foil. I have not tried it with the Mod Podge, but have used Liquitex gloss gel medium, and it works like a charm. The key is it has to be gloss, not matte, & you have to use a laminator or Minc machine. Basically it's the same process as with the original Thermoweb transfer gel (the predecessor to the Duo), but I feel the gel medium is easier to come by. I got mine at Michael's, in fact. Anyway, thank you for sharing your method. Take care, & have an awesome day! :)
