Hey Ummi, can I check with you, if it's allowed to Self Drive from Surabaya to Bromo?
@UmmiGoesWhere3 күн бұрын
Hello, Muhammad Harith. I don't know for sure. I don't think it should be an issue, but to be certain, it's best that you contact any hotel in Bromo for confirmation, in case there are some regulations on private cars that I'm not aware of. 🙂

Hi Shinyi, ya I had a small action cam with me, luckily. Otherwise, there wouldn't have been any video of this journey 😭 I'm the type who's always cold and almost never sweats, so I can wear the same clothes over and over before washing 😁.

@UmmiGoesWhere14 күн бұрын
Whether or not you need a visa depends on your nationality. The visa requirement is the same regardless of how you enter the country.

Hello. Yes, you can use Grab app in Singapore. Grabpay or MAE e-wallet won't work there though. You have to use either cash or credit/debit card (including Wise)

lol calling Kyrgyzstan a little underwhelming is just crazy,then why would come to Kyrgyzstan have u even seen the nature of Kyrgyzstan way more fascinating than neighboring countries
@UmmiGoesWhere19 күн бұрын
Hi, Albelekov. Thank you for your comment. I'm sure Kyrgyzstan has many beautiful natural attractions, which may be more fascinating than neighbouring countries, as you say. However, I did specifically mention Bishkek, not the whole of Kyrgyzstan. And that was my genuine first impression after arriving from Almaty and Astana. I apologize if that has caused offense. 🙂

hi, thanks for the very informative video. Could you help me with how long the journey takes? Google map says 6hrs+ by train but in your video (and in the KTM website when I checked to book the tkts) it says only 5min. This extreme difference is making perplexed! TIA.
@UmmiGoesWhere28 күн бұрын
Hi, Nidah. Crossing the Tebrau Strait by train really takes just 5 minutes (in fact, it's even possible to walk). Are you sure you Googled JB to Singapore and not KL to Singapore? Because it does take around 5 hours to drive from KL to Singapore.
@AimanIzzat-o7dАй бұрын
hi Ummi, do I have to follow the same step if I'm travelling from Singapore to Johor Bahru? and if I wanted to pay by cash, does I need to exchange the money first?
@UmmiGoesWhere29 күн бұрын
Hi, Aiman. Yes, it's basically the same step from Singapore to JB. And if you wish to pay by cash, you'll need to change money beforehand.
