I want a prime Rvx32 but I wonder if they allow u to be lazy in Your form. If my head isn’t at the right angle I can’t level my bubble…or is prime like a red dot with zero parallax? where the dot is you hit…

The target defines the test. If this was in any way a legitimate test relating to performance on game animals then we would see the same amount of penetration on every animal shot regardless of arrow and broadhead choice. We know however that that is not the case. We see different amounts of penetration on game animals so any test that shows results that are all comparable are just invalid in a hunting situation. But I guess if anyone decides to hunt a pumpkin and plywood then you have proved to them that any broadhead will work and none of them will drastically outperform their competitors. Appreciate the effort and time taken to create the video it just doesn’t translate any real credible useful information as far as broadhead performance on game animals.
@BackyardBowsКүн бұрын
I appreciate your comment but I beg to differ, half inch plywood is a great comparison to shoulder bone and the pumpkin is a very comparable to the rib cage, very thought out and consistent with real life applications

@@BackyardBows not saying you didn’t put any thought into it I’m just saying your test is flawed. Every time you shoot the pumpkin and the board it changes the density of each object. Also wood is not a good representation of bone. Bone tends to crack and breaks away when penetrated. Wood does not it tends to hug the object that penetrates it hence the reason houses stay together with nails and screws. Also a pumpkin wouldn’t be the best representation of an animal. Animals have hair hide multiple layers and thicknesses of muscle that’s going in multiple directions as well as bones. I’m glad so many people on KZfaq are trying to “test” these things but 98% of the broadhead tests found on KZfaq while they may be fun to do or even entertaining to watch offer little to no credible evidence in a hunting situation. I’d just like to see the folks running these tests find a better way to run their test so that we quit misleading people that may be new to the bow hunting community.

I will be honest, ever since COVID American quality control went right into the shitter. With the economy being the way it is while I would like to buy American I'm not in the position to donate to American stuff that still charges the same but doesn't have the same quality it did pre COVID.

Carbon 1 is so nice to shoot all day. So consistent and better for backpacking, in my opinion, better hunting bow.

Geez my Omen puts out 296 fps for 628 grains. That 68 grains heavier and still over 30 fps faster than core sr shooting 560 grains 😮😮

Just a couple of comments: It's now more than three months after Athens closed up shop. I happen to be an avid archer. I'm also an attorney for forty years. As soon as I saw the new Axxis line it was obvious they were going to have a problem. Another thought about the archery industry in general. For the most part, this is an industry that is dominated by four or five players. It's hard to know what the revenue is for companies like Mathews. Hoyt, Bowtech, Bear and PSE. They are privately owned so we don't know. But I would doubt that even the most well known among them are bringing in more than 70 to 80 million a year. I'd guess that Athens probably had no more than 4 to 5 million a year coming in I can name at least ten bow companies over the past seven or eight years that have gone out of business. Let's see, just off the top of my head. Parker. Winchester, New Breed, Ben Pearson, Tribe, Stevens, Maitland, K and K. So, the point is that none of these companies can afford to make mistakes. Athens won't be the last archery company to disappear. Over the next few years You'll probably see Martin and Obsession go away. It's not likely that they are selling many bows. Xpedition too. It's just a tough business. Brandon, a while back I saw your review of the Sanlida Dragon 10. You were very positive about that bow. I haven't shot one but by all accounts it's a very good bow. It's also about $450.00. You know Sanlida is taking a bite out of the market. So the Chinese are now putting pressure on our domestic manufacturers. There are two other factors that I believe don't bode well for the archery industry. The first is price. Up and up. At some point there has to be a limit. Even if a hunter splurges for $2,500 to $2,600 on a new rig, he might not buy another bow for ten years. And finally, it seems to me that compound bows have reached a limit in their technical advancement. Over the past few years we had the advent of the carbon bow and we had the invention of easier tuning systems. But that's about it. Bows are not getting faster. Every year engineers have to create a new bow to sell. That's tough.

I've had this bow for six months now and it's great, I also have hoyt invicta and Mathews TRX 36 and I have to say the dragon is not inferior to them in any way and its completely reinforced concrete wall is just something incredible

I wanted pick this up after seeing your review on it. Keep in mind I still have my first bow from a couple years ago, my Bear Legit. And I do plan on purchasing a flagship in a year or so. I’m leaning towards the PSE Mach 30. It’s hard being a lefty because the shops in my town have very limited options for left handed people, usually no more than 1-2 bows, maybe 1 left handed drop away rest on the wall too. Depending on the day not even 1 left handed bow on the wall. Sadly I’m left to reviews when doing my shopping but luckily we have channels like yours on KZfaq. I’d love to have this bow in my lineup alongside my Bear Legit and my future flagship. If you have any contact with Sanlida tell them to hook up the south paws with this one lol

Hi Brandon, I find every one of your videos absolutely amazing! I've been a subscriber and viewer since your very first video. When I showcase bows on my channel, I also try to be as real as possible. I show them directly on the course so my viewers can immediately see how a bow performs in its intended environment. I love the vibe of your videos, the quality, and your relaxed and cool style! Keep it up, and you'll become one of the most successful KZfaqrs in the compound bow scene. Best regards from Germany.

I don't think they design a bow specifically for me every year! However, their style of bow is what works for me best, the aggressive bow requires me to stay full engaged. From the destroyer 350 to the Experience, to the SR350 and now the Core SR. I have a specific learned style and it works. I've tried many of the other top brands and always come back to the aggressive draw Bowtechs.
