The butter looked very white 😮. What kind of butter you used??? And is that a 4 cup measuring cup you used for the flour also did not sift your flour. Never seen a cake baked like this didn't see the almond and vanilla extract added to the cake! However it turned out great. So I subscribed ❤

Hi! I know I used the great value brand of butter from Walmart, but I'm not sure if it was the salted or unsalted 🤔 it was definitely a 2 cup measuring cup but I filled it twice, the video had been edited and not all steps are seen exactly but I put all the steps in the description below the video 😊 and you're right I didn't add the extracts I forgot them but it was still delicious, nice catch! We are glad to have you here, welcome.

@@Droots-Straditions2021 yes most baker's say add the flavorings last, but I add mine after I cream the butter and sugar cause it's easy to forget lol.. this was the only pound cake my grandmother made except for her lemon cream cheese pound cake!

I watch all of your videos and I love them. I never comment bc I watch on my streaming on my TV. Please keep doing what you are doing! I moved to AR from CA a few years ago. I LOVE it here!!! Me and my hunkie hubby of 30 years went out on the mighty Mississippi for catfish last summer. We went out as husband and wife. We came back as two little scared girls. The wind came up, plus those barges... let's just say I will stick with the River that runs by my town now, thank you. Keep up the great work. You are giving me the courage to take another run at a fall/winter garden in 2023!!

Thank you, we are glad you're here 😊 the fall/winter garden is my favorite, less pest pressure and not as hot. I definitely had better luck growing summer squash in the fall. The river can be very vast and mysterious lol I'm with you, I prefer the lake or a creek 😅

I always watch your vids on my tv so I never get to give you feedback. I luuuuurrrve your videos. I moved here from central CA about 4 years ago. Never had a garden, etc… I am all in with chimkens and a garden that just keeps getting bigger. I am in the delta so I am gardening a swamp but I came from a place with 8” -11” rain per year so I am so happy. Please keep up the awesome vids!!! I bought so many seeds I will need to till and plant into the next three neighbors’ front yards to justify!!! You are a rockstar!!

Wow you came a long way from CA to AR, the Delta has a beauty of it's own, love those cotton fields in the fall but the mosquitoes are unbelievable!! I truly believe buying seeds is a hobby all by itself lol. Yes I feel like we keep expanding, I just want to grow all the things! Happy Spring 😊

I never comment because I always watch on my TV, not my laptop. But I had to come tell you how much I enjoy your channel. I am really trying to emulate your success on the chimkens and the garden. My winter lettuce project crashed and burned last winter, but that dang summer garden (my second year trying it) made so much dang produce I was over it by September. Imma take another run at some lettuce this year. I so enjoy watching you, and your information is priceless!! I moved from California to Arkansas a few years ago, and I truly truly love this place!!!

I did the bird feed bags and cat food bags. Only yielded a small harvest. I believe one of my issues was I did not create big enough holes at the bottom. Probably should have been holes about/close to 1/2 inch in size and more of them. I suspect I had rotting issues based on what I saw when I emptied them out. The ones I experimented with in-ground did better. I pretty much fertilized them the same and made sure to use bone meal. Will give the bags another whirl though. They are handy as stand in grow bags and containers. It looks like mine have one more re-use life.

This is one of the reasons I love gardening, there's just so many ways to grow food and experiment and who knows you just might find the best way for you to grow your own food, it's so fun to me. I agree the bags are nice to grow in, I'd definitely give it another go!

It was good to see what works best in terms of bucket and bag. Also nice to see the die back and what I need to look out for. I think I will leave mine in a bit longer. For me mounding and earthing up works better as the potatoes grow closer to the surface. Great video, thanks.
