That building was already falling down. Way back in December last year we saw the owner putting a can if beer on the floor and it running downhill. It was only a matter of time before it got wider and opened up altogether. It DID exist before! It just hadn't opened up on the surface at the time!

Grindavik is doomed to be abandoned, I guess. Terrible for all those people. I hope they have a lot of support to start their lives elsewhere.

This is a natural process of Mother Earth,for she is a living creature and is purging at this moment. Nothing can stop her,but ask for forgiveness and love the land,this is what she wants ✨

Your camera framing is too narrow it never gives proper scale to the size of the telescope.

Erosion!
@tommyroche914218 сағат бұрын
Liquefaction is a different process. As said in the other reply, this is purely erosion. The waves erode the soil under the town and eventually you get chasms underground which increase in size until the ground above falls into them. Liquefaction is caused entirely by movement (shaking) of wet, sandy soil.

Would it be possible to put a 2" EP or the physics won't allow it making it pointless? I have a 5" mak and it is sooooo sharp that makes me wonder if I could put bigger EP and get even better views

That was the most incredible video of a volcano I have seen .. and this eruption looks very different, the power sending that all up from the bowels of the Earth is extremely concerning This has serious implications, no ?

With enough massive eruptions? Despite the added heat of lava, there should be a net global cooling effect as the particles reach 30km altitude and reflect solar energy like curtains in the windows. No need for a nuclear Winter to chill, when Pele can make it happen au naturel.
