"True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so wants nothing." - Seneca Thank you for watching! How do you think the Stoic philosophy can help us cultivate a mindset of contentment and fulfillment in our lives?

Rule number one you have to have some kind of money or power to be able to tell someone or something NO!!!. Otherwise there could be consequences... And just because you say yes, I'm going to do that. It may not happen that way.... But keep try anyway

Thank you for creating such a fantastic video with the captivating title "The Art of Not Caring." It truly is an inspiring and insightful exploration of Stoic philosophy and how to apply it to daily life to live happily. What I appreciate most about this video is how you explain the basic principles of Stoicism in a clear and practical manner. Discussing the idea of not caring about things beyond our control, focusing on what truly matters, and paying attention to what is happening within ourselves are valuable lessons. Furthermore, the way you outline the 7 practices of Stoicism to achieve a truly happy life makes the content specific and immediately applicable. This helps viewers not only understand the philosophy but also know how to begin implementing it in their daily lives. In summary, your video is not only a valuable source of knowledge about Stoicism but also a detailed guide to practicing it to live a happy and meaningful life.

I have never been a "ppl pleaser" 😊 even as a child. I instead embraced my own way of doing what made me happy, 😀 I wanted to travel, biking, doing my Artwork and crafts, and playing organized field sports, I had the confidence to explore my own path, dreams and passions! People can just walk away from trying to convince me what they think is best for me. I have a strong sense of independence and freedom from what others think or believe, bc I've never given a "f**k" its my life, not theres anyway. ❤👌🎉

Millions of sperm seek one egg. Congrats you won while millions of others have perished for you to experience your win. Your first place prize consists of life an experience to discover yourself. Before you are born you have already killed millions of different possible people trying to take your winnings. Enjoy your experience because it expires.

I understand not asking for approval from others, but it is still wise to seek council or input from trusted family and friends. Many times they think of things that I did not. That doesn't mean I need to do what they suggest, but it does give me the opportunity to consider points i may not thought about. So, permission no; but input yes.

In other words, how to stick your head in the sand and justify to yourself that you're doing the right thing. Then the commies come and remove your right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They'll call it a 'privilege.'

This does not work with toxic people . Here is a example: I was working at a freight forwarding company saving money for trade school tuition . My brother who is a drug addict asks me if he could borrow $50 . I said no, knowing he would never pay me back . He stole $900 dollars I had saved for my trade school tuition because I refused to let him borrow $50 .
