Switch out the M3 springs and replace them with Thompson springs. That will increase the rate of fire to over 500 rpms

MG42 has immense firepower. However the concept around it requires immediate change of barrel at the ready and with a lot of ammunition to replenish the rate of rounds expanded. For me the BAR and the BREN are the most economical and relevant for an offensive based standard infantry squad. The belt feds should be allocated to support platoon and not with every infantry squad as the doctrine would be more defensive in posture. We also know that in warfare the offensive action has the advantage of

Hey Mike! How you doin'? Hope you're doing well man! One thing I learnt not so long ago in another video. You can unload your mag very fast by partially pressing the front of the top bullet, just let the spring do the magic for you. I was trying to find said video but I couldn't so I'm dropping this one cause it's the same principle. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h9ungryAy8rFiok.html You probably already knew about that but I hope you enjoy it! There's companies who make proprietary coatings for weapons like these. They can cost the bolt, barrel, and everything else. Makes the metal far more durable, resistant to heat, slick like wet ice, and the barrels show no signs of wear after even thousands of rounds. You should check it out.

The Philippines should produce more of these, with a modified faster rate of fire and chambered for the 9mm ammo. Instead of purchasing expensive imported firearms. The PH gov can arm even the reservists with these.

The MG 42 was a universal machine gun so it was also mounted on vehicles and in tanks. While the British vehicles generally used 7.92mm BESA MGs for vehicles, which was something you only put on a tripod mount as a heavy MG.

Why do some guns need oil to run? As far as I know it’s needed for better extraction but I don’t get why you even make guns that need oil when it’s also possible without.
