Wow, wow, and WOW. I heard his music at Ojai a year or so ago and was blown away. More Julius, please. Wonderful.

That’s inspiring. How long did you have this condition? And did it progress for you? I am suffering from it as well. I am a composer who can’t play his own pieces cause I always hate seeing my shaky finger on the keyboard.

I've had symptoms for just over ten years. It has progressed but only very slightly!

To everyone who's mad at them for using a redacted version of the slur in the title: the original intro to the piece by the composer himself has been removed from KZfaq for being hate speech (try following the link in the description yourself). So maybe redirect your ire towards the platform that has censored a Black queer artist talking about his own work because it contains a slur that he is intentionally trying to deconstruct - rather than the performers who are making sure that that man's work can still reach an audience.

"Soli Deo Gloria" for this heavenly music.. Bach used to right that sentence in latin on his all composition "Soli Deo Gloria" what means for the Glory of God .. And like him of corse I confirm that; all the Glory to God in Jesus Christ

If Mr. Eastman himself was still alive and went on KZfaq to see his music there, he would've been disappointed to see the censorship of his piece's title and see it as an insult

Huh. I wish Travis was more like this version of him and less like himself.

Justin and Griffin usually drive the comedy in anything the brothers do, while Travis clearly has a lot of skill in writing and more serious stuff. I think he’s often overlooked and that’s unfortunate

very true, even in TAZ Balance, Travis was the most connected to Magnus’ backstory from the beginning. Justin & Clint added wonderful depth to Taako & Merle’s backstories, but even then they still kept to the comedic or light-hearted element with them (i.e. Taako being a former celebrity chef, Merle being a “beach dwarf”). Travis, on the other hand, created a heartfelt story of a headstrong boy that grew up to be a deeply loving, sensitive protector. He took Magnus’ journey very seriously and thought out every detail, which is fantastic to see in any D&D campaign. But it just goes to show how much Travis has to offer when it comes to filling his writing with emotion and earnestness!

I'm not a parent (yet), but why would anyone say, "enjoy it while it lasts!" to anyone who's having a rough time? It's like someone has strep and it feels like there are shards of glass embedded in their throat, and every time they sallow it's a struggle not to choke on their own saliva, but everyone in their life is like, "Oh, enjoy staying home from work while it lasts!"
