Haha, because it's the perfect height and I use my phone as the camera and the stand sits on the counter perfectly.

Interesting! Quite similar to what I do but I drop the last beat off each 4th bar and my dot and cut is a little tighter. They kept on working me to it being a kind of slow flam. The ending is alternative too. I like it actually! I currently do bam-bam.......bam-bam....... bam...bam (same as a 2/4 ending but missing the last beat).

I believe that this is him playing the bassdrum part of a pipe band roll off
