I am in our Alhambra Shrine temple Highlanders pipe and drum band. We’re playing this with single notes? The flam triplet sounds amazing! Love this!

Haha, because it's the perfect height and I use my phone as the camera and the stand sits on the counter perfectly.

Interesting! Quite similar to what I do but I drop the last beat off each 4th bar and my dot and cut is a little tighter. They kept on working me to it being a kind of slow flam. The ending is alternative too. I like it actually! I currently do bam-bam.......bam-bam....... bam...bam (same as a 2/4 ending but missing the last beat).
