Thank you guys. For years I’ve been very much against the removable ones since most people were deleting the airbag and even in some cases the horn. It made no sense looking cool was more important than the steering column going thru your chest? I say this because I had a friend get killed years ago after one of the removable steering wheels was installed in his car. I’m so happy you guys did your homework and said you know what this is stupid with looking cool and raking your own safety with not designing these wheels correctly. On a side note I had a kid want to install used inner tie rods in his Nissan 240sx and my buddy thought I was being a sissy about not wanting to do it. I walked away an hour later after my buddy had installed the used inner tie rods the kid went to pull onto the Boulevard @ 10 mph and SNAP! No steering and had to be pushed back into the lot. About 5 minutes later the kid sees me standing there smoking a hand rolled cigarette sweeping up the used oil absorber and says…. “You were right.” I looked up from my sweeping and said….. “More importantly you’re alive and no one is hurt or dead.”
