So all of the water coming out of the cold line is filtered? How do I prevent wasting filtered water if only using to wash hands?

This product is costly. The filter dispenser costs $75, and the additional filter costs $35. A dispenser is worth every two filters. I thought getting a bottle of water delivered to your home was expensive, but after seeing the price of this product, that bottle of water is such a deal.

I use my Epic water pitcher everyday...love it!!!

This is very hard to drink from, the amount of suction required feels like it might even be bad for your mouth over time. I think Epic Water are a great company, but not everyone wants to be drinking water from waterfalls like the guy in the video. They just need their polluted tap water to be clean. Also for sports, trying to drink quickly isn't possible with this filter. Please bring back the option to buy the Urban filter. Thanks!

The website has a number of contaminants that aren't tested for the smart shield and a link to "why we haven't tested", but the destination is down. Is it basically to do with flow rate, or is there another reason this is tested to fewer contaminants than the pitchers?

Where can I get the replacement timer

One of the dumbest designs I have come across. Prying the timer out of its position without scraping or gouging the lid would be next impossible for many people. Don’t bother.

Fluoride, does it filter fluoride ??? Does condensation form on the outside of the bottle when filled with cold water ?

Thank you for these details. Could use more details, but still better than what came with my countertop dispenser, which was nothing but spigot directions, and something about some sort of water testing device that has nothing to do with the product and which I'd never heard of.

Outstanding, Coming over from the One Life Family. Hello Gary & Brooke. I have to say, I have purchased 2 bottles & 1 Pitcher from Epic, The Pitcher is awesome. The Bottles are great, But..... The filters for the bottles I am not a fan of. I live in SW Arizona and the water here ( Well Water ) is very heavy with minerals. The filters only allow for the drinking of maybe 2/3rds of the bottle. { Idea.. fatter, shorter filters may allow for using more of the water } I also use a Katadyn for camping, the ceramic filter works so much better then the ones that come with the Epic bottles. I haven't lab tested. The test I did was with 3 samples. 1 tap water, 2 Epic filtered water, 3 Katadyn filtered. placed in Fridge for 1 week, looked ad settled minerals in glass. 1 crazy full, 2 about 90% less, but weird taste. 3 clear water, tasted great. IDK if this will be of use. Just thought I would give my exp with the products. Thanks a million y'all.

Just got mine ordered yesterday, can't wait to try it out.. But I have so many questions about the filter it's self... Like, I mainly want to use it for tap water but can I use it in a stream as well... it is called everywhere filter but it also specifies 99.9% remove of stuff in tap water in the same sentence.... Can't someone make a detailed video what to do and not to do with this filter.. Thanks✌️

I understand that you have to wash the pitcher but the filter is also partly submerged in the drinking water how do you wash that? Do you wash the outside of the filter? If you don't wash the filter won't it put germs in your clean water?

I did not change the battery for a year. It is damaged and I need a new timer.

I’m a bit confused with the pitcher I received. I just don’t understand the filter. The pitcher is super light and is the filter that grey screwed on thing or something else needs to be inserted. I’m used to heavy filters from Brita and this seems like maybe I’m missing something. Also the picture for nano with three clear plastic holds doesn’t match dar stuff in the booklet
