Quick deinterlace tip. In handbrake, select yadif bob on deinterlace. Then for fps select 59.94. Click allow upscaling and set cropping to 0

This has been deinterlaced with Handbrake. Some things still seem to come out looking like crap, but it's free, so I guess I can't complain.

@@thenewanalogarchive22 The settings I posted deinterlaces these to 60fps. Again Yadif Bob. Constant Framerate 59.94 (you have to select that one) and allow upscaling. Also turn interlace detection off.

I'm not sure. This came from the same source as the Labatt Blue commercial I uploaded, which is noted on the label as being a cinema version, so maybe this commercial was also produced in a cinematic aspect ratio and then they cropped it like this for TV.

It doesn't seem like they were advertising on these Asian Video tapes at that time. Someone would have to find some TV recordings to find those commercials, and I've been looking for any TV Asia / Vision TV recordings from that era for years without any success.

The marching band music at the twenty-two second mark originally came from Raoul Kraushaar's Omar library, it can be heard in a few Beany and Cecil cartoons that used selections from it as well.
