Did you have to install new caster/cambers after this 2'' lift? I have an '87 Ranger and plan to do the same thing but I read alot of issues with the cambers and casters and them needing to be swapped.

I did a similar job (not Skyjacker) on my 89 with dual front shocks; the forward shocks contacted the bottom of the coil spring under any load. I would take a close look at dimensional specs before buying. I ended up shelving both forward shocks as i couldnt return them afterwards due to chafe damage from the coils

Ah yes the upper ball joint spinning. Since the ends of the threads get rusty, you need to melt the plastic from the jam nut and then the nut will come right off. Ford sells the nuts in bags of 4 for this reason so you can replace the tie rod ones while your at it... Same for stabilizer link. Melt away all plastic from lock nuts and replace. I did these same struts on my 11 119" and front sits a little higher.

Another extremely important thing you left out is once it comes time to torque the bolts to spec you need to load the suspension. I use a low profile jack to load it then I use a torque wrench to torque to spec when working in my garage. An alignment should be done around 2 weeks or around 500 miles after install.
