Regulator rectifiers waste a lot of energy in heat converting the AC voltage the bike makes into stable DC. I've found on my Hondas, Yamahas, Kawasakis, I need to put it in direct air stream to cool. I can only imagine if I lived in a hotter state, they burn up in the colder NYS weather too.

Relocate the rectifier .

That gear display is based on a calculation of engine rpm and front drive sprocket rotation speed. Either a clutch that is slipping or a sensor issue. I've never had that issue on my 2016. The hard to turn throttle is most likely the plastic bar-end cap that is press on too tight against the throttle grip.

changed all 3 charging components went out for a ride checked V everything was good then about 30 min later lost power again . Everyones saying somethings draining the battery but what could it be I never chawed anything with the bike in years

You need to move the rectifier/ regulator to a different position mines attracted to the rear subframe

holy shit!!! what a great road... man im so glad I seen this video, my 2007 Gsxr 600 left me stranded a few days ago... and i figured its my rectifier or stator.. and I almost opened up my stator to check.. so now I guess I will do more research. on how to check the voltage of the stator. thank you.

dis old asf but those k6/7 600/750s had shitty charging system. come one year later, (2008-10) and the issue was fixed. at least ive never had the issue. i also run a stock yuasa battery. hope shes still well
