Hades gave him a challenge that Hades knew he wouldn't be able to complete himself. Hades would absolutely have turned to look for Persephone

It's a beautiful love story until you think about mythology. Zues and demeter are brother and sister and they have a daughter named Persephone. Zues and Demeter's brother hades then marries his insest bred niece

"Wait for me?" "I will." This might be the most romantic exchange totaling five words that has ever been conceived. It's definitely a contender.

What I love about this song is even here you can see his power over the mortal characters, he’s the only one who’s lines at the end aren’t overlapping, it’s just his vocals plain and clear.

Hermes sounds so done with Orpheus by the time he says, "No. It's a test." Almost like, 'I understand your fear about this, but trust me on this, kid.'

"If I raise my voice, could I change the way it is? Why do we turn away instead of standing with him? Why are we digging our own graves for a living? If we're free, tell me why we can't even stand upright. If we're free, tell me when we can stand with our fellow men." Important words to remember in 2024. Flowers are blooming in the heat of the marine.

True point though. It pisses me off that we allow the 1% to rule over us and dictate how we live. We allow them to have taken the majority of the worlds wealth and resources. We allow them to treat us like shit and yet we have the majority in terms of numbers of people. They number so far fewer than the rest of us of the worlds population. We could totally dominate them. We have the numbers. And yet we don’t. we do nothing.

This is probably something obvious, but I just noticed, for the first time after countless listens and re-listens to the album, the melody of Doubt Comes In in the background at 2:47, when the Fates start singing. Never noticed that before, but I think that's a really cool touch. :)

What's depressing is how applicable this is to real life, at least to those of us living in America. You work in order to live and spend your whole life working. Least that's how I'm currently feeling. I need to see a doctor but I can't afford a doctor unless I get a job that pays health insurance (there's Medicaid but it's a joke, most doctors reject it). Problem is it's hard to get a job with my condition, but I can't see a doctor for my condition without getting a job that pays health insurance first. It's a fucking Catch-22, fuck America.
