I just now noticed that the darker green color in Amity’s hair looks somewhat like the color in Edric and Emera’s hair. (Yes, I know that Amity’s Mom dyes her hair).

She was a bully for like 1 episode.

Episodes 3-7 had Amity as an antagonist from there we start learning more about her problems leading into episode 15 where Amity has to confront her past actions and make a choice that will change the trajectory of her character for the rest of the series. Amity was only a bully for a while but it gave the character a lot more depth throughout the series.

@@TheCartoonFanatics I wouldn't really say she was the antagonist for episodes 3-7. Because during the episodes she was in you can clearly see amity question her decision. I understand the aftermath of amity is why people like her, but in terms of bullying she's not that very good.

@@kerfufflehatter3525 Would you say Amity wasn't an antagonist for I was a teenage abomination, covention and hooty's moving hassle? By episode 7 you start getting the character depth and the self improvement arc starts.

@@TheCartoonFanatics first off, the "I was a teenager abomination" was the only episode I see amity as a real bully. The other episodes doesn't really paint a picture of amity being a bully. She was just mostly being petty and mean, not long enough to be actually called a bully. Plus, amity was re-thinking her choices which meant she didn't mean them. So only the "i was a teenager abomination" was the clear evidence that amity was a bully. The other just felt like amity said bad thing for a short time but mentally took it back.

Everyone forgives white diamond blue diamond and yellow diamond. Yet y’all hate pink. Blue literally shatters gems. Yellow destroyed organic life forms. And white diamond well she was something else and the only reason why the diamonds changed was for selfish reasons. All the diamonds are just as worse as rose

tl;dr version: Why bother inviting direct comparisons to the real world, if the whole point of the fantasy show was to generally not be about the real world. What benefit is there to fantasy characters who reflect real-world same-sex relationships and how does that improve character development or your story? Why is it necessary at all? Its a perfectly good show with perfectly good and funny, well-written characters (for the most part). What does it matter if a character is romantically involved with the same gender when the show didn't establish that sort of thing at all from the start? I often wonder why Owl House was booted from Disney, but it kind of makes sense. I love the show so far, but even I noticed a few "in your face" couples in the prom episode, and I wasn't expecting anything out of teenagers hanging out with same-sex teenagers on a fantasy cartoon comedy show, because it'd be like Hermione Granger having a crush on Ginny Weasley just because they talked a few times. The Amity thing comes out of nowhere and could be mistaken for a friendship or two characters that don't like each other initially, but learn more about each other and become friends after some adversity- a classic arc that is underutilized in many young adult shows for some odd reason. Unfortunately the protagonists in a lot of these kid/ young teen cartoon shows tend to have this problem where they can't be written to dislike a planned romantic interest on the outset for some reason. What does it matter if they have a romantic relationship on a show with a talking wooden owl door, a witch with a werewolf-esque curse, and a pet-dog who thinks he's a demon king? You already have plenty of good setups without mixing your tone with "virtue signaling" characters blushing that aren't even developed enough (or mature enough) to totally understand those emotions yet. Luz is 14 years old, but we're never told how old (or how age even works) in the witch fantasy world, which makes it extremely confusing why any character would be going through puberty at the *exact same time.* Why bother inviting direct comparisons to the real world, if the whole point of the *fantasy* show was to generally not be about the real world. What benefit is there to fantasy characters who reflect real-world same-sex relationships and how does that improve character development or your story? No wonder people at Disney clashed with the creator over its content, it clearly doesn't understand the robust language of the cartoon medium when it inserts these topics without explaining any of it. They were probably just as confused by the presence of reality crashing into a cartoon show as I was. Maybe have some remark like, "Oh I didn't know humans also liked the same type of humans," line somewhere? We are never even told what GENDER any of the characters are by the way, so who even knows if Wizards, witches and whatever else exists even prescribes the same labels as humans in the real-world. Do you not see how it totally clutters up the whole premise and obfuscates the message of the show when you introduce all of these elements that don't actually make characters more interesting? Who cares if a 14 year old has a crush on another girl, what does it add to the character? What does it add to the show? IF it was just there for inclusion's sake alone, then I'd be feel absolutely insulted by whoever came up with the idea to exploit your viewership regardless of which direction you swing romantically speaking. That would truly awful if none of it were planned and it was just there to draw certain demographics into watching it. Totally unsurprising that it was cancelled. If it was all planned by the writers then they should've taken the show and the ideas to another network.

While I believe that Rose is morally gray, I do not believe she was a bad person. She was treated poorly by the other diamonds, and because of this, she never thought anyone really cared about her. One of the reasons she never told anyone she was Pink Diamond was because she believed that no one would care. Rose did not have enough self-love, and she thought she was inferior to other gems. While she was treated poorly, this does not justify her abandonment of Spinel or the bubbling of Bismuth or any other bad things she caused.
@davwad3

The reason she had to impersonate another gem to save earth was because her status as Pink Diamond did not matter to the Diamonds. They would not let her terminate her colony. Becoming Rose Quartz was her only option.

In my professional opinion, the show mostly designated for less culture people and more 'liberal' folks. Dont get me wrong i like the show, its just i dont think its suitable for anyone under the age of 13.

While I wouldn’t classify Pink Diamond as the TRUE Villain, she was definitely A VILLAIN. I’d still argue the other 3 Diamonds are still greater villains cause they’re the ones actually enforcing the Tyrannical Homeworld Empire; but even as a Rebel Pink still acted like a Diamond.

When I first watched Knock knock knocking on Hooty's door, i had no idea of Luz's feelings for Amity, I have been sitting on my own sexuality for so long I don't know how to open up, but Luz did it, and in the right way too.

Saying that the cops were a censored version of a gay couple is insane. Its a kids show they are closer than most good friends they just don't sexualize them its not censorship unfortunately since you can't understand that the rest of your video is pointless because it doesn't follow common sense.

If I had a nickel for every time a 13-year-old was possessed in a kids cartoon, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird because it happened twice! First with Ty in Grossology, and then with Marcy in Amphibia. Plus, I definitely know how Marcy felt with that helmet lowered on her head. I felt the same way at Stitch’s Great Escape. They had those very uncomfortable shoulder restraints that hurt sooo bad. I felt sooo uncomfortable with the restraints lowering on us…I had that same uncomfortableness Marcy had. The moment the helmet lowered, I got Stitch’s Great Escape flashbacks when the restraints lowered, I got so scared.
