Shops all suck suck suck! That’s the first thing you learn in trucking. These guys are always negative about everything and hate their lives. I’ve never been to a shop where 90% of them are not total morons and assholes who don’t give a shit about you or providing professional service. Your best bet is to hookup with a trusted mechanic that you’ve built a relationship with and willing to help you when things go south.

I’m a mechanic engineer and going to become a truck driver. Starting my CDL school next monday! I currently work for a well known company but being a truck driver has always been my dream. I don’t regret getting my degree either because i know more theories, have higher education than others, and most importantly i have something i can back up to. wish me luck!

I haul scrap cars a lot and HATE when they use zip ties and when they have excess netting, they just tie it to the rub rail. Makes it a pain to get ready to unload.

2 things (I work for a Big Tex Dealer in the Midwest) They sold you the wrong Brake assembly....Thats for 3500lbs axle... 2nd thing Those winch rails were probably put on after it left the factory, At the Dealership, If the come from the factory they are one piece.... If you buy the winch rails after market... They come in 6ft sections.... Thats 18ft of rail. Also Where in Texas did you purchase? I know this video is 3 years old... I am more just giving you insight and curious where you purchased in Texas.
