Very nice voice but a bit too precious. That’s not a criticism of the singer but rather the industry and how it coaches singers to express - i.e. in a style that is excessively informed by an instrumentalist’s need for precision and less an actors need to express drama. Look a Giuseppi Taddei as an example of fuller integration of musical and textual imperatives. His is not the only way to sing this aria but it certainly doesn’t stumble on the account of excessive preciousness.

Where the fuck do you find these schmucks. His breath is louder than his voice. Sounds too feeble to lift that hammer. Sounds exhausted standing still. Figure out how to hire GOOD singers, not just whoever the agents and managers tell you to hire.
