Thank you for this review...I struggled allot with mine, but I know what was part of the reason, mine was folded opposite sides together then in this video (how mine came from factory) will fold it in half the same in this vid as the bottom side has allot more grip, which makes it allot easier to roll up. They're not locking tools at all. They don't lock. That's just friction.

The hammer section also rotates slightly, giving another bottle opener. Mine needed a bit of sharpening out of the box, and I found the scissors to not be quite as good as the ones on my Leatherman tools. Still a decent wee set of tools.

No centre bar sounds good but seems like that could cause you or you and your partner to roll in to the centre.

Check the scissors will cut paper before you buy the thing.

I bought this toilet a couple of years ago - it really is excellent. You do have to remember to pack spare batteries (if you want the flush - we've "manually" flushed it with a glass of water with dead batteries). Everything is nice and easy, height is really ergonomic. I laughed at the bit where you said you really don't want splashback when emptying - yes, I agree with that! A Lot. lol.

I hope you're still around because I have a question about that tarp: How well does it block out the sun? I have a canvas tent and while nowhere that I camp gets as hot as Australia, it can still get pretty hot and if I could block the sun, I might be need to bring my 14,000btu air conditioner. Don't laugh, I had to give up the synthetic tents because it was so much hotter inside than outside it wasn't shelter.

So is the green chemical responsible for breaking down solid waste and toilet paper so you can drain properly w/o it being stuck in the bottom compartment? Can I use regular toilet paper or use the aqua soft only?

i’ve been using this bottle for 10 years now. one small problem is that fuel leaks through the top of the bottle where the locking screw is if tipped more than 90° too low. but that only happens when tipped too low. to solve the problem, add an additional o-ring below the screw lock. that would add an additional “leak proofness”. i hope the manufacturer would do the same.
