Just bought this laptop, i see officially it says it recommends only a 1Tb SSD upgrade per slot, would it be problematic/ what are the risks if i went to 4 TB each? Also would the WD Black with heatsink SSD fit in this slot, or would the additional heatsink cause size issues? FInally is the laptop compatible with PCie 5.0 upgrades? If anyone has answers can could let me know the benefits/risks of these questions as i am new to this pc world it would be greatly appreciated!

From my own experience, I know that it is possible to install a SSD SATA and M2 2280 drive. It is not an elegant solution, but it works. just remove the SSD disk board from this housing, insulate it for safety and then plug it under the m2 disk. It works quite well, this way I have a 512gb intel ssd m2 and a 2tb sata ssd from adata in my laptop

Just upgraded mine with a 16GB ram. I had to pay for them to install it which came up to 80 bucks! Now, may I ask what tools you used to take apart the laptop? I'm thinking of getting an SSD upgrade but I honestly don't want to pay another 80 bucks for something that takes 5-20 mins to do for free. My question: What tools are you using? I just bought Legion Slim 5 16IRH8 not long ago and realized it only had half a TB storage, tried looking around online after Lenovo's own information made it sound like I could only have 1TB of total storage. I'm glad I found this video, here it looks more like Lenovo's information was stating 1TB per SSD slot NOT 1TB total storage which is what I thought.
