Lee Michaels is amazing. Runs a very successful shrimp restaurant around LA (I think he and his family have a few locations now). He's a helluva piano player, singer and songwriter. Classic triple-threat musician who retired at the height of his popularity.

This represents a phenomenal waste of money, but when you are the world's number one snake oil salesman, nothing is out of bounds. When Fremer changes his slippers, he hears a difference in the sound.

Looks IMO a bit like a diy shop with a 5 way CNC. See the difference in factory’s like Linn. Cool stuff. But a bit pricey

Great to see it arrived in one neat box! ... Very "low carbon" and "green!" 👎🤣 Is that a Covid mask? ... Or, is it some weird idea to protect the turntable? ... Does the turntable off-gas toxic fumes from manufacture? 🤣 Even if I could afford it, I couldn't live with it because, in my opinion, it's one of the most hideously ugly turntables I've ever seen in 45 years of Hi-Fi! ... I mean, it hurts my eyes just looking at it!

A perfect illustration of how hearing is a process of the brain. this plaything of the super rich means nothing to me, except for being an interesting mechanical device to play records. because even before the cost is considered , human hearing is only subjective, it didn't evolve to test hi fi equipment, and has well understood functional limits.

I’m sorry but this machine is a scam. The information on a vinyl disc requires 1% of this turntable the rest is useless

I began with W/A after meeting Dave at a showing of his at Overture Audio in Md. The sound of the Watt Puppy 6's with Spectral and MIT had me smiling. To this day I am still smiling when I drop the stylus and listen to my newest Sasha V's. W/A = Quality & Sonics.

As a boom op, I feel sorry for this person having to be in the shot and go between the audience and Bernie. Holding a mic at the end on a pole for an hour is cruel and unusual. Great content though.

The disparity between the quality of what is being shown, and the quality of the presentation is astounding. It's like a 4 year old child discussing the brilliance of The Seventh Seal.

I think it is very important for makers of audio products to also provide the public with the reference gear they use to evaluate their products to give customers a better understanding of how they achieve their design objectives so they also know what changes they can make in their system to be aligned.

You have to admire the dedication and determination to produce a tonearm of this rarified quality. And then be able to produce it for a client base.

Great presentation. Re. everything affecting the sound, to be clear, some of these differences may only be clear to those with much more 'conditioned/trained' ears, that from attentive listening over many years have become much more aware of nuances. So those inclined to audiophilia, may want to ask themselves how deep they want to go into this process, because it can bring great emotional rewards, but also predispose the more sensitive listener to becoming more perfectionistic in their pursuit.

This is the most high tech and sensible innovation in turntables to date. The way the suction keeps the record planted on the platter is amazing.

Always fascinating and enlightening to listen to Bernie. He has a lifetime of expertise and knowledge to share. Interesting to hear him tell it straight- the main reason so many have recently switched to vinyl- for superior audiophile integrity of sound- has become a victim of its own success. From its niche position as an audiophile exclusive product it has grown in popularity with the masses, most of whom are listening on junk equipment. This of course requires serious compromise on the audio quality to allow albums to play on the cheap equipment. Cutting corners, sacrificing quality and keeping overheads down yet still promoting the luxury lifestyle brand and ripping folks off milking them for all its worth. Nothing changes. I'm amazed at how dirty new albums are in comparison with the heyday of vinyl- why are people willing to put up with this poor service for a premium product?
