Yes! The lowest setting on a dimmer switch will always turn the lamp off.

How do you buy a shade for a lamp that has no previous Shade

Hi there! The most important thing is making sure the shade has the right fitter for your lamp first. Then, try to find a shade that will be 1/3 the overall height of the lamp when in place. In general, width of the shade should be about 2 times the width of the very base of the lamp. There should also be some clearance between the bulb and shade so its not touching it directly.

Would the different in angle of each blade con tribute to the wobbling ? I notice couple of my blades do not have the same angle as the rest of the blades.

Vinegar can be used to clean a crystal chandelier. We recommend combining one part white vinegar with three parts water to create the cleaning solution.

Gonna try this tomorrow! The Hampton Bay fan in my master bedroom is 20 years old and has been rock solid (and ultra quiet), but lately has had a bit of a wobble that makes just enough of a tiny "squeak" on each rotation to drive me a bit batty when trying to sleep. Wish me luck!

First off I paid Lamps Plus to install my fans .It is not wobbly .It makes ticking sound .I used the balancing kit and it fixed it ..

Sorry to hear about the trouble! Did the item not include the instruction sheet in the box? Since this uses a slightly different design, the install steps are different. There should be a back plate that attaches to the wall, and then the decorative cover goes over that.
