Today I just had my road code test in AA, and I got 34/35 questions correct. There was this question which I think doesn't make any sense "when you have a restricted license can you carry your spouse", I pressed no but the answer was yes, and I thought I was correct when I pressed no so I don't get how I got that one wrong
@angel.gerrard Жыл бұрын
Yeah bc on your restricted you can carry your spouse and kids

@@angel.gerrard Oh maybe back when I did it, I didn't know what a restricted license is so I got it wrong

If you're driving the blue car, you don't give way to the red car. You only have to give way to drivers coming from your right. Therefore, the red car gives way to you.

1:31 confusing sign. Look's like Parkingspace 30m to the left. Why not only "P 30 min", like the most countries? Almost the whole world have the same road sign, exept USA, NZ and Canada.

Respected sir I have observed that all heavy vehicles are creating a lot of pollution. In general all vehicle's silencers are horizontally arranged 2 feet above road level. So the exhaust fumes are directly pointed at a person's height. This is effecting both the padestrians and two & four wheelers. And road side dust is also thrown at the people and plants. My suggestion is all heavy vehicles silencers to be orianted vertically, (similar to tractors silencer), so that smoke is exposed to the open sky, thereby padestrians and other commuters are not affected by dangerous exhaust fumes. Kindly research on this issue. Thanking you
@drivingtestsnz4 жыл бұрын
It's a valid comment, but it won't happen. American trucks will continue to have vertical exhaust stacks, but European trucks won't. This is because Euro trucks have more restricted length limits. If you put the stacks behind the cab, it takes up space that could be used to carry a load. New trucks conform to EuroVI emissions, so are getting much better at not polluting the atmosphere.

What I find interesting about the NZTA and Rode code is they really shy away from the hard stuff that you face in real life driving particularly around the city. They've got the basics covered but some roads are a tad complicated than that.
@cee26074 жыл бұрын
Do these rules apply for American drivers as well or are these solely rules for NZ natives?
@DarrenCottingham4 жыл бұрын
If you're an American driving in New Zealand, these rules apply.
