I was in a motorcycle accident too. Back in 89 there was a helmet law. If not I would have died instantly. God bless you 😔

What does classified as independent mean
@iinnthefutureisinsight64372 ай бұрын
Independence in these circumstances means becoming more self sufficient after a life changing incident, where in some cases the patients are not able to do anything on their own. We have seen tremendous growth in some of our patients, in some cases there have been patients that have been transferred from other facilities where they made little to no progress after their injury, but shortly after they came to us, they were walking, eating, and doing other things they could not previously do. Independence in cases of people suffering from a TBI differs from person to person, because everyone has different circumstances.

How would one know if their spine is thicker or thinner? I'm a slender person, always have been, but my disc herniated and I'm not sure if it's lifting or yoga that's causing my problem.

I am in terrible pain due to FBSS and it is eye opening because they (doctors) couldn't continue doing RF ablation because the scar tissue prevented the needle from going into the back from the side and *even attempting to reach the nerve entering from the sacrum. I haven't finished watching the video because the results and conclusions at 9:56 made me comment on this. Are there treatments to try and improve one's life? Meaning reducing scar tissue. And are there any _genetic_ tests that could be done pre-op? And is it true that more surgeries would cause more scar tissue even if it's endoscopic? And lastly, I had read that this can be related to EDS, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, what are your views on that? I'd very much appreciate your responses. All the best.

@DiogenesNephew11 ай бұрын
If you ask the average doctor they'll tell you to stop walking lol. I literally had a fucking doctor tell me that I'd probably have to stop working out because of my low back pain. I'm 32 and very fit 🤦
